We were on this flight and have already lodged our (1st!) letter of complaint with a claim for compensation. We are collecting info for the inevitable further correspondence. We would like to find anyone on the flight who heard and remembers the comments by the captain of the flight concerning why there had been a delay.0 -
Hi Pat,I had an eamil from Ryanair yesterday stating that no compensation was payable as there were extraordinary circumstances.I emailed a reply asking exactly what were these circumstances and I expect the truth and not a pack of lies which I more that expect they will come up with.I will keep you informed of any developments

Put this on the relevant Ryanair thread. For the sake of an uncluttered forum board do not put a new thread up for eacj claim.
Thanks you
Mod. can you move this to ryanair thread please? If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Hi can anyone help me? I am trying to locate a UK address for Ryanair. I am attempting to serve a claim on them for a delayed flight in March. I did find an address for Bath Road London, but the papers have been returned to me unserved. I will be most grateful for any assistance on this matter.0

Read the RyanAir thread! You can't serve on them in the UK.0

Hello. I wondered if anyone would be able to offer any advice. We were on the Ryanair flight FR3441 from Manchester to Palma on 17th October 2014. This flight was delayed by 3hrs and 25 minutes. We believe it was delayed due to a problem with the plane. We received an email on the same night from Ryanair stating "As it was caused for reasons outside of our control (extraordinary circumstances) we regret that no monetary compensation is due under EU261/2004". I just wanted some advice as to whether it was worth attempting to make a claim or whether we would stand no chance due to them already communicating this to us? Thank you very much.0

As it is stated by the airlines that it is an extraordinary circumstance. so you have no due compensation. But if you want to claim you have to find out the reason of the delay or you may simply check on tripmole if you entitle any compensation.0
