When are airlines actually going to stop trying to hide behind excuses to accept their ethical, legal and moral responsibilties to the people who keep their business in the air?

If its done as an EU case, then it should not matter where the case is heard as long as it is in the EU!

Same old O'Leary, Same old Ryanair......I never did get that Christmas card.......
Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

Go to post 622 on the Ryanair thread to read how to sue them safely.
  • I am sure he will change his mind when he gets his aircraft seized for non payment. Cannot wait tv show The Seriffs are Coming should be good viewing.

Bott & Co charge 25% plus £25/claimant if they win, are there cheaper firms out there???

27% and 25 EURO to be precise.

Better 73% of something than 85% of nothing.

Quick update on my delay about 2 years ago. Gave it to Bott & co and they have been to court and are now sending the bailiffs in.

I've been waiting since mid July. Not heard anything further and Bott & co haven't responded to emails. :(

At last...Bailiffs have recovered funds from RA.

Now just need to wait for bailiffs to hand over money to court, for court to hand over to Bott & co and Bott & co to pay me!

    Finally, I have my money!

Ryanair had to pay an extra £145 in court fees and interest. Almost doubled what they would have had to pay had they settled straight away.

Delay time was over 7 hours. Only we did recieve Mc donald meal as food during that No proper information airport provided about what is happening, why why delayed when we will probably depart, on the board they keep changing boarding time every two hours with just later time of possible boarding.
I did apply a compensation form on Ryan Air and get rejected.

    Dear Mr *******,

We refer to your online claim dated 27th December 2016.

On behalf of Ryanair, we sincerely apologise for the delay of your flight FR9525 from Lublin to London Stansted on the 25/04/2016, which was caused due to an unexpected technical fault as a result of a bird strike.

On the day of your flight delay you received an email message advising you how to avail of free call credit. This credit was issued in accordance with our obligations under Article 9(2) EU261/2004 in order to assist you in making any necessary calls due to the unfortunate delay of your flight.

Our handling agents at Lublin Airport have confirmed that assistance was provided along with the notice.

As this delay was unexpected and therefore outside Ryanair’s control we regret to advise that no monetary compensation is due under EU Regulation 261/2004.

We note that refreshment vouchers were issued according to the time of delay.
However, if you incurred any additional reasonable receipted expenses during the delay, please submit copies of all relevant receipts to support your claim please click on the below link and upload your documentation along with your bank details to speed up any payments that maybe due:

We sincerely regret the inconvenience you encountered.

    Yours sincerely,

MM23 - from the sound of things you are due compensation. Read Vauban's Guide and then decide whether to DIY a claim or use a NWNF.
