Thanks everyone - it was FR2672 to Ciampino on 29/5/16. They're saying it actually arrived two hours later than it should have done but I'm sure we waited that long for it to take off!

Flight Stats show your flight was 164 minutes late so 16 minutes under the time for compensation. Your gate arrival time should have been 9.55am and your actual gate arrival time was 12.39pm =16 minutes under. Now it is the time the doors of the aircraft open so you would have to have been at the gate for 17 minutes before the doors opened.

Ryanair FR2627 flight from Ibiza to Manchester delayed by 7 hours 10 minutes on Sunday 3rd August...worth pursuing?

what year and what was the reason for the delay?
  • Hi all, was wondering what my next steps would be with trying to claim for a flight which was delayed a couple years back. I already sent Ryanair a letter a few months back and their reply was this

"We sincerely regret the delay of your flight FR817 from Edinburgh to Dublin on the 24/10/20104, which was caused due to airport control restrictions, occurred on a previous sector". The rest of the letter goes on to apologies etc. But refusing to pay comp.

Is there any way to check a flight delays reason and whether this is just a standard reply from them?
