probably best reading on the Ryanair thread to see what others experiences have been https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4384705
  • Yes, I've been there but find it difficult to find anything thats either relevant or definitive. I wanted to post this on the RA forum but was defeated.
Have searched about and there is advice on what to do when the Airline says 'NO' but what when they say 'YES' and then go quiet? I do struggle to find stuff on the MSE forum. Cheers Tim

    1) Whatever time period you find acceptable
    2) If no payment within your acceptable time period read Vauban's guide and issue NBA
    3) Easily available on Ryanair thread but bear in mind nothing is easy with Ryanair.
  • Hi,

recently had a flight delayed from dublin to leeds was 3hr 7mins (which went over midnight) delayed and the story was it was snowing in leeds so our plane could not set off to come and get us and then head back again.

Am i able to claim for this?

they sent us an email saying we could also get £5 food voucher but all the shops where shut wasnt able to use it, again am i able to claim for this?

    cheers

An airline would defend the claim and ultimately a judge is likely to agree with the airline. Don't bother, too risky.
Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.
  • 111KAB, Thanks for that. I'm sure I'd read about an 8 week wait before the next step but again this is a one off comment on a forum and hardly definitive.
Does my issue of a NBA involve Resolver or am I on my own now? Thanks for the help everyone.

Hmm not necessarily. Strictly the meteorlogical conditions have to affect the flight concerned, not an earlier or later flight, as in this case.
If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

    Totally agree JP.
Seen this before, argued exactly as you say- and won.
Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

Go to post 622 on the Ryanair thread to read how to sue them safely.

    Hi,

it was Saturday night just gone, the flight before us was diverted to Liverpool and what we got told was we was waiting for our plane to set off from Leeds to Dublin as the conditions were too poor.

i would have thought that our plane should have been the one which got diverted to Liverpool (ie that plane just flys back and forth)

    Cheers
