It takes approx 3 1/2 hours to fly from Newcastle to Sophia. The pilot was taken ill 16 minutes into the flight. Why didn't they land earlier.0

Have put a claim into Thomson - had all details except the booking ref which we don't have as emailed to my old email address and they have responded to state this is required.
Do you think Thomson will supply it if I have dates, names, bank account details etc ?

I would very much doubt it, are you attempting to claim for a delay from 4 years ago?0

Hi Ian,
I cannot say that I'm 100% sure about the answer. However, if you supply as much information as possible, to prove beyond all reasonable doubt that you were on the flight, it will difficult for them to refuse.
Things like receipts, statements, photographs, hotel details etc etc the more the merrier.
If you give either the CAA or CEDR a call they may be able to help with a quick answer.
Good luck. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -

Hi, our party of four were on the same flight, TOM172 on 13-09-17. Applied for compensation which was refused due to adverse weather conditions. Contacted Thomson again asking them to reconsider, or an explanation regarding the weather conditions which had delayed the flight. Received reply this morning and my claim has again been rejected. Do not understand how they can accept one persons claim and still reject my claim which is for the same flight. Thomson have advised me that I can refer my claim to the CEDR.

linpaul, maybe you could request a copy of the confirmation of payment from carsontom to include in your submission to CEDRIf you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
