If I knew how too I would....! I searched under Thomson flight delays and nothing came up so I posted this accordingly and I don't appreciate the comment 'like so many others make this board difficult to navigate' it's supposed to be a forum where people help each other not put them down on the first posting..... Besides I wasn't aware you where at the helm and where navigating it?....0

Bumped for people that can't be bothered to look, so they post their own personal thread and this ends up 3 pages down..If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

There is a Thomson thread on page 3 which has 8,281 questions and replies. If only 10% were questions that would make 828 new threads which would be totally out of the question to try and give answers to. That is why we ask that questions are posted in the correct thread.0

Update, cheque recieved for £1073 today. Although 4 of us on the booking one was a free child's place so it was 3 x €400. Happy with the speed they settled it just over a month.0

Well done but one question did you pay anything towards your child flying, even though it was a free seat did you pay an admin fee or another fee for your child to fly. If yes then you are due €400 for your child.Don't let them get away with not paying if you are entitled.0

I can't see that we did mate.i did read about that as Thomas cook charges £1 sometimes but they have gotten away with paying out because it's discounted. What does bug me is that the prices go up when there's a free child place. I remember pricing up 2 adults with free child place then 2 adults and 2 kids (1 free) and the adult prices went up. Can I use this do u think or doesn't it count?0 -
Thank you Justice13075, I appreciate the more constructive advice...will repost on the correct thread...0

Not sure where to place my case that i won against thomson to help others but here goes.my family were delayed for 7.30 hrs (may 2016)due to the plane we were due to board hit a bird on landing. We were stuck in girona airport waiting for a engineer to arrive from scotland to check plane, thomson gave us money to buy food and drink while waiting.
I claimed via thomson for flight delay, other than contacting me that they had recieved claim they did not respond to emails or phone calls.i decided to use cdr when thomson rejected claim filled in claim with them and waited.
The eu courts stated that you could claim for bird strikes but has the cdr and thomson progressed my claim the eu courts reversed their decision and stated you could not claim for bird strikes, i added to my cdr claim that i felt my claim should be delt with by the law at the time.in july i recieved news that i had won the case and have now recieved 1000 euros £877 from thomson..0
