Just gone to CEDR, but had a set back as they do not accept Resolver submissions. Spent about 20 minutes filling out the form and you have to agree to a £25 if you are 100% unsuccessful.0

If so have you issued an NBA in a second letter?
I see little pont in using CEDR if you know you have a sound case, since this a legal obligation on the airline, if you have a valid claim. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

It's all been done via Resolver, this was the final part of the escalation process. Next step will be to carry on myself I think.0

Sorry to be vague - but what is an NBA? I've been trying for compensation since July. Have kept a log of telephone calls/emails/who I've spoken with etc - All I'm ever told is that they'll 'chase' it for me. If there's a 'next step' that I can take I'd like to try & I've read a couple of recent posts about an NBA!
Cheers all0 -
Notice before action, otherwise known as a letter before action0

Hi. I would appreciate any advice please. I have just registered to submit MCOL. Do i just list Thomsons as the individual i am claiming against or should i claim against a named person and if so who? Also should i use their Luton address?
I started a claim in July through Resolver. Other than their automated reply i have had no response. I chased it and got another automated response. I sent an NBA 16 days ago by email and post. I have had no response from them. If anyone is online i would be grateful for advice on the above question please as i wish to file today.
Many thanks everyone0 -
If anyone has completed MCOL - did you convert the euro amount to sterling using current conversion rates? Thanks0

Use the rate that is most beneficial to you - either the date of the incident or the current rate (given exchange rate, probably the later)If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Agreed. If the Court gives judgment in foreign currency, it is converted to sterling at the time of payment not at the date of the flight. This worked against the consumer when the Euro had slumped but is now reversed0
