Bolly8. can you post the details of both flights ie day date flight no's and the route's.0

I certainly can Justice 13075
Claim 1 : Flight TOM7672 29th January 2011 From (BHX) Birmingham to (SOF)
Sofia,with a scheduled departure time of 13.45hrs.
Claim 2 : Flight TOM7672 25th February 2012 From ( BHX) Birmingham to
( SOF) Sofia ,with a scheduled departure time of 13.45hrs.0 -
According to Flight Stats there were no flights from BHX to SOF on either of those dates. What happened did they get a later flight or was the flight cancelled.0

After my message to you &,having the details in front of me,I also checked flite stats & could find neither of these flights!
I must go back to my grandson & ask him to check his details more thoroughly.grr!
I do apologise to both Legal Magpie & yourself for your wasted time & hope, when my grandson has checked his details thoroughly,I may come back to the forum, for further advice.0 -
Just thought I'd do a good news update.
After opening a case on Resolver in Sept 2015 for a EU flight delay of over 4 hours, I have just arrived home to a cheque from Thomson Airways.
Thomson had not responded to any of my correspondents and I had escalated the case on resolver & then finally to the CAA with my resolver case exported and attached on 14/01/16. This obviously did the trick.
Thank you all so much for the advice & guidance you put on here, it's really appreciated.0 -
I went to Alicante in July 2013, we were delayed 4hrs on the way and 18hours on our return. I can't remember the flight details - how can I get these? Although I did try for compensation but they said no, but I am going to try again. Thank you0

I answered this on your previous post.0

Hi Rachel,
It sounds like they are just grovelling around trying to find a reason not to pay you the compensation you are due.
If there was a problem with a light, that would cause you to miss your flight departure slot, nothing extraordinary about that.
Have a read of Vaubans great guide and then issue an NBA if you fancy the DIY route.
Good luck.
ps Don't bother with the Spanish CAA, it will just delay you and their findings are not legally enforceable.
Thank you very much for your excellent advice. I will look into what you have said. From reading other posts on here it would appear Thomson interpret extraordinary to mean many things! Thanks again.0 -
Looks like there were ATC Issues on that
I'm a bit rusty with the details but read Vauban's comprehensive guide that you will see referred to on here. That should give you a good idea. Don't even think about bothering with the Spanish authorities.
Many thanks I will do some more research, much appreciated.0 -
Rachel. Bott & Co NWNF solicitors indicate that you are due 400 euro per passenger.0
