I need some urgent advice please if anyone can help, I will read through the pages here
I have just realised this morning (because of a birthday celebration) it is 6 years on monday since we endured an 18 hour delay.
is the limit for claiming 6 year?
If it is possible to claim I have a short time to get a claim in the post today!
  • You have to submit a claim to the court within 6 years, not just contact the airline.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

Can I not start a claim by contacting Thomson first?
If not I am to late then to do anything?
  • As I said the claim has to be with the court within the 6 year time limit, that is assuming you are not in Scotland where it is 5 years.

So contact Thomson if you like they will just tell you that you are out of time and there is nothing you can do about it.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

If you want to proceed there's no point in using the post as you will be out of time. Issue today using MCOL

Agreed, issue today even if multiple claimants, it can be amended later, but issue today, forget the NBA and our usual advice, just get the claim in now.

It seems there are 3 of us who are claiming for this flight so let's update when ever we have any info. I still have not received my rejection letter only the verbal from Emma but that was nearly 2 weeks ago, but it is in the hands of a NWNF so hope we will all get a positive outcome on this.

Yes, lets keep in touch. I am disappointed (though not surprised!) that Thomson look to be putting up a fight over this. It really was a rotten delay - I have never been so exhausted at the end of a holiday, I was a slightly sunburned zombie at work for days after!

I'm not sure how I will proceed once I have received the rejection letter from Thomson. Need to scour this forum to decide if a no-win-no-fee agency is the way forward or if I can afford the time and effort of pursuing it myself.

There's no registered letter needed to be sent. Just got to the MCOL site and instigate a claim.
