  • found it, printed it, following it (to the letter!)

If anyone has used this to pursue Thomson for flight delay compensation I would be grateful to know what contact details they used for Thomson. Is it the Chairman of Thomson or the specific person I have been liaising with in the flight delay team?

I am about to submit my claim on MCOL against Thomson.

Please can anyone advise on the following info?

-full name (including title) of the person(s) you wish to make a claim against

    - full address (including postcode) of the person(s) you wish to make a claim against

    Thanks!
    Simon

    Name:
    Thomson Airways Limited
(make sure you spell this correctly, there is no 'p' in Thomson. make sure you put Thomson Airways Limited because TUI are not the flight operator)

    Registered Office Address:
TUI Travel House, Crawley Business Quarter, Fleming Way, Crawley RH10 9QL
The above is just my opinon - which counts for nowt! You must make up your own mind.

    Long Story Short:
    We've won!

Short Story Long - to follow.
(Probably at the weekend with some hopefully entertaining tales thrown in)

This is a brief timeline of events for my claim. I hope to be able to expand and comment in more depth on several of these points later this week.

May 2010 – Delayed on Flight TOM188 Manchester to Male 26/05/2010.
Feb 2013 – Submitted claim for compensation to Thomson
Feb 2013 – Claim rejected by Thomson on basis of Montreal Convention two-year time limit to claim.
Mar to Jun 2013 – Letter Ping Pong including sending an NBA to Thomson.
Aug 2013 – Submitted N1 form to start Small Claims action.
Dec 2013 – First Hearing, Stay granted to Thomson pending Dawson & Huzar Judgments appeal to the Court of Appeal.
Jun 2014 – COA rejects airline appeals; local Court requested to lift stay on my case.
Jul 2014 – New Hearing date set for Sept 2014.
Aug 2014 – Thomson request and are granted a further stay based on Huzar appeal to The Supreme Court. The Sept 2014 Hearing date is vacated.
Oct 2014 – SC refuses permission to appeal Huzar (and Dawson).
Nov 2014 – Court requested to lift the stay on my case.
Nov 2014 – Court gives Thomson six weeks (until 31 Dec 2014) to confirm if liability is still contested. If reply is yes then a new hearing date will be set for ‘Contested Liability’. If reply is no or no reply is received then Judgment will be given for the Claimants and a new hearing date will be set for ‘Damages Only’.
Jan 2015 – No response from Thomson, Court informed and requested to give Judgment.
Jan 2015 – Court issues directions for a new Hearing in Feb 2015.
Jan 2015 – Court requested to clarify if Judgment had been issued.
Feb 2015 – Judgment is given to The Claimants and Feb 2015 hearing confirmed as being to determine the amount to be awarded.
Feb 2015 – Hearing determines amount to be awarded.
The above is just my opinon - which counts for nowt! You must make up your own mind.

Unfortunatley you are looking at 56 days minimum, and they probably won't respond, you need to ring the dedicated number and check you are on the system, I submitted my claim 17th Dec 2014, begining of Feb I was only 11days into the claim? Today my claim was going before the committee and end of March is when I expect to hear, so a long drawn out process. Good luck.:

Hi, thanks for posting this information.

May I ask what the dedicated number you called is?
