DW in my case (v Monarch) my Judge stated that in his opinion the supportive letter I had from AESA was a total waste of time and not even worth the paper it was written on!

    Morning 111KAB,
Yes I know that was the opinion of the judge in your case....
In mine it was different..my point being that it was down to the fact Ryanair did respond... and AESA ruled that their claim as an EC was rubbish. And they should know!
I'd be more cautious with a 'default' ruling because the airline didn't respond...
Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

    Current known score:-
Dr Watson 35 - 0 Ryanair / Ince and Co

Go to post 622 on the Ryanair thread to read how to sue them safely.

Your post should be on the Thomson thread or on the Mary Wilshaw (?) thread.
  • Hi there,
Is anybody trying to clai for the Thomson Flight TOM195.
They are making the excuse Extraordinary Circumstances and are blaming 3rd party check in system failure.
Can anyone tell me if this is a case i should pursue.

Besides your flight number you should at the very least quote the date as this flight number could be used every day of the week 365 days a year. In the first instance however you should make your own mind up (read FAQ's page one) whether to pursue.
  • I am starting this thread for those claiming flight delay or cancellation compensation from Thomson.

Any posts regarding any other airline in this thread will be ignored (at least by me).

CAA a waste of time - suggest you either go NWNF or research yourself and proceed with court claim. 31 hour delay is ridiculous.

Very quick question... Is thomsons still sticking by this 2 year nonsense. I had a delay in 2010 of 24 hours!!!

Try googling NBA and small claims action, alternatively try searching this thread for the same thing. You could also avail yourself of the FAQs which might just provide a pointer!

You will need something that proves "on the balance of probabilities" that you were on the flight. Again searching this thread for "proof that I was on this flight" may be fruitful.

I did google it lol, it just directs me to Basketball sites :(

    Thanks for the pointers anyway!
