Flight delay and cancellation compensation, Thomas Cook ONLY

I wrote to the caa back in march and only just got a reply I am going to request a warrant today if they havnt got back to me

Hi, first post, I have read at least -157 of these pages and as far as I can see only one per comment about my flight delay....could you please help? Sanford to Glasgow on the 28 th June. 24 hrs delayed...this was due to a hydraulic tank leak..the first in airbus history....and yes they said it was a Extraordinary circumstance on their standard letter. Has anyone has success with this, we were told no compo yet my friend who was also on the flight was given £100 which they are fighting. We then sent tc a letter back stating that I was a shareholder and that if they didn't pay up I would take them to court...by passing the caa....and that they had 14 days to get back to us....that has no lapsed......what should we do?

Maybe ... take ... them ... to ... court?

Thought this page was meant to be helpful! I was wondering if anyone had came across the same fault.

TC are having a laugh saying someone will contact me within next 7 days it's just rubbish so no they won't be I'm going to proceed with a request for a warrant fed up of playing there games !!!

Sorry to hear that but not surprised. You have to admire their gall to to keep on trying like that though! See if you can get a sheriff's warrant, they have more power to enforce and they only get paid if they get results.

I'm so mad spoke to mcol TC have requested a application form to be sent out to set aside this takes several weeks to be put in front of a judge this is so unfair everything I've done as correct and to there registerd address and there just going to end up getting away with it
