Did TC give you the same spiel of "industrial action" too?
I had not heard of anyone else on this forum receiving that response so
I take small comfort that someone else is in the same position!
I am determined to prove my case though as I feel they are trying any old trick to avoid paying out.
Sorry, i maybe confused you, just simalar that i know what happened at the time and now wanting to prove what the case was when tc are lying through there front teeth. I have waited for 5 months on a reply from the CCA who have finally came back to me saying that someone else on my flight has tried a court case against tc and tc won due to the extraodinary circumstances of the delay !!!!! I sent a response to that email 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing back, i spoke to abta today and the have steered me in the right direction i think !!!! and advised me to speak to CAA as they have still not give a reason why my claim is being refused, i called them after going through all the options several times as you have to lie to speak to a real person. I did manage to speak to a lady by the name of Linda who was absolute rubbish, she could not answer any of my questions and advised me if the CCA investigation was negative on a fellow passengers claim that it would be the same for everyone on that flight, this as i know could be very different in another hearing and i think that although the cca should be working for me and you they are as carrupt as the airlines and this was emphasised by a fellow forum member. I am watching the forum and seeing how things can and cant work to gain knowledge on how things work then i will be contacting tc via special delivery with a 14 day NBLA0 -
Suggest you read various threads regarding the validity of the CAA - as useful as a chocolate teapot at best. It is really up to you to read through the threads and the FAQ's on page one and decide if you have a strong enough case/will to take them on0

Totally agree with 111KAB, CAA are a total waste of space, if you really believe in your case NBA giving them 14 days, if no reply off to court you go.
Looks like its of to court we go if tc do not respond to my forthcoming NBA, cheers guys and by the way stavros42 i was born in Dundee although lived there for only 2 years, that is the second coincidince that has happened tonight, you would never beleive the other !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -

you may have to send to voucher back to them,when I spoke to them on the 0844 number they told me they would cancel voucher and pass it on to accounts to send cheque,i think the average is a two week wait,i hope it is not longer there as there 28 days with the mcol is up
I have just phoned them and he said the cheque is in the post YESSSSSSSSSSS:j I would like to thank everyone for help, if it was not for you guys I would have given up by now.0 -
