My solicitor emailed me today and said they expect to know by the end of July if jet 2 will be allowed to appeal0

I've just received an email from Monarch with more delaying tactics relating to the Huzar vs Jet2 case.
However, I submitted my MCOL claim last night .. too late0 -
Originally submitted a claim for MON1829, 4/6/12, Corfu to Manchester on 7th June 2014 and have just received an email from Monarch to say that the cheques are in the post so that's a result.0

Sent the claim off and been informed that Monarch will pay out E400 each no qualms!

Monarch have rejected my claim sighting medical emergency on the plane during a previous flight earlier the same day (Faro - Manchester) they fail to mention that the wheel and break needed changing upon arrival in Manchester on the diverted faro Manchester flight. Would the delay of happened if the wheel and breaks had not needed changing. Can they use a diversion on a previous flight to reject the claim for delay on later different flights?
Advise from the community appreciated0 -

Seems difficult to me to justify a delay from Turkey to Manchester caused by a medical emergency on a flight at least two before yours. Monarch are chancing their arm with that defence I reckon. But you will no doubt need to start court action to shift them.0 -
Hi All
Is there any previous presidencies where a flight had technical issue as well as a diversion on a prior sector earlier in the day due to a medical emergency.
I could do with knowing 'how thick the ice is' before resorting to MCOL with it.0 -

Impossible to offer a view without more details. When was the original delay incurred. How much earlier than your flight, and for how long? When did the technical problem manifest itself - how long a delay did this create. Facts please.0 -
Hi
My flight schedule was ZB521 on 31 May 2014 from Antalya to Manchester scheduled departure time of 23.10
the previous flight with the medical emergency (stopped off in Brest en route) was Faro (Algarve) to Manchester Dep 11:35, Arr 14:40, flight ZB 581
arrived inbound at 16.35 (scheduled 14.40) then they had to change the wheel/brake
inbound Antalya scheduled arrival was 15.40 - 22:10
so the delay seems to be made up of 1hr 55min due to medical emergency on a previous sector and 1 hr 20 min due to a technical issue
without the technical issue it would of been less than a 3 hr delay
How am I likely to get on via MCOL?0
