Monarch delays & Compensations. Listed flights denied in O.P.

Hi
My flight schedule was ZB521 on 31 May 2014 from Antalya to Manchester scheduled departure time of 23.10 ...
How am I likely to get on via MCOL?
I think you have a good case here.
The flight with the medical emergency (Faro to Manchester) was two flights before yours. This flight in fact already took off from Faro 20 mins late before it had to divert. Its total delay was under two hours.
On arrival in Manchester, the outward bound flight to Antalya was delayed by over four hours according to flightstats - leaving at 7.51pm in the evening. This is presumably to fix the wheel brake.
You seem to have been turned around pretty quickly once the plane arrived into Turkey.
So by my reckoning the main cause of the delay over three hours is attributable to the technical problem. The contributing factor of the diversion occurred so much earlier in the day, Monarch should have been expected to make provision to catch up (and would have done, except for the technical problem).
So I think you should go for it. But if there is more than one passenger claiming, don't use MCOL - fill in the paper form which allows for multiple claimants.0 -

Hi
I do not know of anyone else claiming, seems to be no mention on here from anyone else.
when we finally arrived in Manchester at 05.20 to add insult to injury it took the airport over 2 hours to transport the bags from the plane to the baggage hall, with everyone so tired due to the delay etc stood there watching bags come through from flights that arrived 10 mins ago there was nearly a riot!!
I guess the crew just walked passed the bags sat next to the plane and went home, I assume they would not of been able to sign the plane off if the bags were still on it. I know they were not in the baggage hall as some passengers climbed though!
not a good day at all, so I am very determined to extract what I can!!0 -

Oh, right.
Thanks for the tip, is it not possible to do it online via MCOL if I'm doing it for my family (me, Mrs +2 kids)?0 -

And form N235 for each of the children (if they are under 18).0 -

As the other members have said, you will need the N1 form, fill it in and the Litigation Friend forms to act for the children, send to the Northampton court (Salford) this will cost you £95.00 (did me) depending on the value of your claim. they will send you notice of service, then allocation to track £40 and then directions court process.Check out Vaubans Flight Delay Guide, you will be glad you did....:):)

Pleasure, Steve. Don't forget to send them a Notice Before Action before you commence legal action (details at the start of the "Taking the Airlines to Court" thread, I think).
Keep us updated - though expect the wheels of justice to turn slowly ...0 -
