That's the problem I cannot remember exactly I know it was after midnight, it may have been about 1ish and unfortunately the Flight Stats website is not showing the arrival time, so I don't know if it is worth me sending the letter as it's only a cost of a stamp?
If it left 3 hours late exactly I would say it is 99% certain to have made up even a couple of minutes to arrive under the 3 hours
If you put your flight details into one of the NWNF calculators it does come back with
"You are not entitled to claim
Sorry, our system suggests that you may not be able to claim in this case"
which seems to confirm this0 -
There is an exciting new competition on the Monarch Complaints Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MonarchComplaints).
It's spot the difference, but with a difference.
I don't know if the MC Admin Team are going to offer a prize...

But you can't have your cake and eat it!the law is the law;The Regulation creates a strict liability.
But not on claimants to claim or others to advise them to do so.
Actually the strict liability more applies in the case of UK energy companies where if they do not pay the customer the regulator "fines" them an equivalent amount!0 -
The ICO came up trumps for me with my complaint re Monarch. Having forwarded 2 SAR`s to Monarch and getting no response I contacted ICO. Had a response within a week. Received a Special Delivery letter from Ms Morgan Mulay with a copy of a letter they are alleging they sent to me on 23 July 13, accepting that i was on the said flight. Stated they sent it Special Delivery to ensure I received this one.
Its just a shame that her covering letter responding to the ICO request which was posted on 19.2.14 was also dated 23 July 13. Or maybe its just my suspicious mind.0 -

What a bunch of jokers Monarch are! Well done on knocking down the first of their so-called "defences". Watch the rest tumble too!0 -
I have published, as a resource for others, Monarch's two skeleton arguments that they deployed during my recent case against them.
You can find the details on the "Taking The Airlines to Court" thread, here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=64791245&postcount=281.0 -
MON6479 from Banjul to Gatwick on 13th March 2012 was severely delayed by well over 5 hours. The airline delayed responding, eventually claiming, in February 2013, extraordinary circumstances. The CAA investigated on my behalf and advised Monarch that I had a legitimate claim. Monarch still refused to pay. I decided to use a 'no win, no fee' legal company to pursue my claim and within a few weeks Monarch has finally agreed that my claim was legitimate and that they will pay up. I used Pickwick Solicitors, tel. 0208 502 9398. Hazel Hannan acted on my behalf and I cannot praise her services highly enough. The company was a little cheaper than some of the others, was UK based and very efficient.
I wish all the other frustrated claimants against Monarch the very best in dealing with this disreputable (in my opinion) airline company.0 -
Another success! I used Bott & Co to look into my original rejected claim for flight number ZB239 from Lanzarote to Gatwick on 1st Nov 2012.
They came back to me today (about two weeks after I instructed them) to tell me Monarch had agreed to pay.0 -
Monarch utterly ungracious response is so typical and yet hilarious in its own way ...

And the usual token numpty comment:
"For goodness sake did this gentleman want to depart on time on a plane with a broken windscreen. Like the airline I do not know how he won his case."0
