Hi, I am really frustrated as I know that a Monarch flight we caught from Birmingham to Faro, in the algarve on 23 sept 2011 was excessively delayed, we were mean't to take of at 6:20am, and we were still in the departure lounge in the afternoon, when I go on to flight stats it said the delay was 124 minutes !!! this is not correct!!! so where do I go to challenge this info, and is there anyone else that was on this flight and is trying to make a claim !

If you are sure then claim. Information from flight stats is of no use if relied on in court.

Something to do with a call by the Sheriff's bailiffs to collect unpaid court judgements, all caught on camera by a BBC film crew. Or so my spies tell me.

Is this the kind of publicity that Monarch are really seeking? Seems awfully careless to me, but no doubt Morgan Mulay knows what she's doing ...

They deserve all they get. The wheels of justice grind very slow, so they much have had numerous opportunities to resolve the matter.

But we all know how they like to ignore things, bury their heads in the sand and hope it goes away. This time it has come to bite them.

Hope it makes prime time TV.

Hi, hope someone out there can help!

I submitted a claim to Monarch regarding flight ZB699 on 10/07/09 from Mahon to Manchester that was delayed by 7hrs and 52 mins.

I originally contacted Monarch by post in June to say that I intended to make a claim and received claim forms from them shortly after. I completed these forms and submitted them to Monarch by email on the 5th of July, but have not yet heard anything back from them.

Could anyone who has been through this process let me know on average how long it normally takes for them to reply.

I am also thinking that maybe I should have sent the claim forms to them by post rather than via email.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, am a bit confused now - would I contact the UK or Greek NEB? The delay was from Manchester but they are citing Greek ATC strikes even though the announcement on the plane was totally different and said technical fault.
