Ah, thanks, I didn't know that. So Monarch are now holding on to their creditors' money as an interest-free loan!

    Are you surprised!

Perhaps their new motto should be: "We fly so high, we stoop so low."

You are not guaranteed to get 8% (I was awarded 5%) so claimants should not rely on this plus the claimant in question (who has to go to Bailiffs and not the Sheriffs) is doing so because her claim has already been won/awarded (ie less than £600) and interest has already been determined on the day of judgement. You cannot keep adding interest yourself after that date.

No interest was added by the Judge..........its just damed annoying that it will be the county court bailiffs, who give prior notice...

Am hoping that they will just give up and pay son's compensation. same flight same delay.......

He is 21 so had to submit his own claim!!!!! you tried getting a 21 year old to do something that has no interest to them...lol...

everything is done he just needs to print off a wage slip to show his earning so he does not have to pay........

    Not rocket science.....

what od you think the chances are lol

Did you ask for interest in your initial court claim form? (You don't get it if you don't ask for it.)

I would ring their switchboard and ask to be put through. I am sure Ms Mulay would be deeply embarrassed to hear that Monarch are in breach of the court's order.
