Ask Atos Healthcare disability assessment questions
Comments
-
Hi ebsay
Health care professionals undergo a rigorous recruitment process which ensures their standard of spoken and written English meets DWP requirements to undertake disability assessment. The work of all our HCPs is subject to continuous audit to ensure quality standards are met and maintained. The documenting of information is a key element of their training and if it is considered there are specific factual inaccuracies in a report we would be happy to investigate.
From JS it seems atos nurses have to work under rigorous conditions as well!!

I can confirm that all health care professional doctors will provide their GMC number on request. However if you are assessed by a Nurse, they are not obliged to provide their registration number, this is in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines. However you can request a Nurse's registration details via Customer Relations once the assessment has been completed.

Thank you for your enquiry. After your assessment, if it is a doctor you can ask for their name and GMC registration number, if it is a Nurse, the Nursing and Midwifery Council ask them to provide their name and geographical location, if requested , but not their Registration number

It seems the MSE censor has been censoring peoples' posts at the behest of the Atos Rep!0 -

It's worrying the Atos "HCPs" don't even introduce themselves at the start of the assessment and it's up to the claimant to ask. Even then I very much doubt the "HCP" would give you the information they are supposed to provide.
It's very disconcerting that atos "nurses" are forbidden from divulging who they are and what their qualifications are.0 -

Just repost it and see how long it takes Atos to order MSE to censor it!0 -
Does this mean if you are assessed during the period you are receiving contributions based ESA and put in the support group, you will continue to receive after the 365 days expires? Sorry to have to keep asking questions, my concentration is shot
Yes that's exactly what it means.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
