What's the difference between the email address on your site and this one.. custrelations@atoshealthcare.com

Hi sicknotethefirst

e-mails sent to either address will reach us. I’ll look into why there are two versions.
Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Atos Healthcare. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"

In that case there is no point if they go to the same place, the same staff will ignore it as they have already in the 3 I sent them, and by the way none of them were in anyway rude, I was just asking them a polite question. Thank you for your answer, I will send a letter off to the CEO of Atos.

This details the later response after I was told by the ATOS person that they did not have an independent tier and later that they at least had not heard of it.

It makes as much sense as this http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2013/feb/17/atos-subcontracts-tests-to-nhs

After reading some of the stories on here, I am truly horrified.

I am surprised that the rep has not suggested that you ask for the complaint to be escalated to the Independent Tier of the complaints process. As you have sent the complaint 3 times (one more than necessary), it should now be eligible to go to the IT.

Question for the MSE sponsored Atos Rep. (if they will answer it)

If we are to believe that Atos provide comprehensive training in physical and mental health disability analysis why have Atos been forced to introduce "Mental Health Champions". If your training is so good why have these "Mental Health Champions"?

Also any idea why Atos prevents its nurses from providing their registration details to the sick and disabled people they are assessing!!

Do you think I should ring the DWP and ask them when I will be transferred from IB to ESA or would that "rock the boat"? it can't be in alphabetical order because I know someone who' was called up months ago with the same initials as me.

Can anyone tell me the type of people who don't have to attend the Atos assessments?

I'm struggling to sleep because of my disability with worries over this.

Hi Roxy07

Atos Healthcare doesn’t have any information on when you might be referred to us, so I can’t help with that I’m afraid.

Regarding who doesn’t need a face to face assessment - when someone is referred to us they are sent a questionnaire. When the questionnaire is returned it will be reviewed by a healthcare professional along with any other information sent in. The HCP can advise the DWP that a face to face assessment is not needed if there is sufficient evidence to show that the person should be placed in the Support Group or Work Related Activity Group.

A DWP spokesperson said:
"We believe that it is right for Atos to partner with the NHS to offer Pip claimants familiar surroundings and experienced health professionals. The partnership proposed here demonstrated best value for money for the department and its claimants."

Can we take this comment ''Experienced Health Professionals'' as an Admission by The DWP that ATOS Don't Employ those?

Question.

Are those people undergoing IB to ESA reassessment sent an ESA50?
