If you take the view that everyone is trying to scam you, won't be far wrong.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

I'm really really lucky, I have got to the old age of 40 and never been scammed before....... 99% of people in my opinion are honest, caring and friendly. Shame about the less than 1% who make a living taking other people's hard earned money in dodgy ways rather than find a true career path for themselves. But then again the person who owns passport-uk.co.uk probably earns a lot more than I do living honestly......0

NHS I agree is an essential, however driving licence and passports are not. Not every can or wants to drive, same with going abroad.
Its upto the post office what they want to do. Have you contacted them and asked them why they havent started to offer this service online, or are you just guessing?
Why not put your energy into complaining to your MP or the OFT?
Welcome to the real world, powerful_Rogue. Most employers will ask you to bring your passport on day 1 (some even on the interview day)...They specifically say driving license+address proof only if you do not have a passport. You still think they are not essential? Now please don't start another debate why not carry birth certificate with you on day1!....
Of course there are people who can't read labels on what they are buying +small prints, but it is alarming to know that there are also people out there who shut their eyes on realities....0 -
Indeed it is.
Like all those people out there who can't be bothered to check what they are buying before making their purchase.
It works both ways.
To me, the latter is the section that exists more in this forums/threads and they too need more of a compassionate approach, or may be not ?...:D0 -
We use passports as photo id and I also needed one for my interview and again to be crb checked for my job.... They are an essential part of life.
And yes.... I should have read the website better !!!!! I'm an idiot.0 -
...As someone who clearly understands all there mistakes, I am ONLY asking advise from anyone who knows if there is anyway that I could get my money back.
Especially as most of you need to learn some decent grammar before you write sentences (childish comment I know but true)

The site didnt take your money, you gave it to them in exchange for a service. Nothing dodgy here has happened. The site is honest, its tells you exactly what you are purchasing.
Fair enough, you keep saying you made a mistake and that you didn't read what you was purchasing - but theres no need to keep coming out with untruths. The site is upfront. Its been investigated by the OFT and been given the green light. The site is legal.0 -

But they aren't taking money in dodgy ways are they ? They asked for your card details, you gave them. Where's the dodgy bit ? If you get your completed application, they've done what you paid them to do.0
