Its will be some "years" come June. Facts speaks for itself.

I would advise powerful_Rogue to stop defending himself for the mud that he has thrown on his own various posts.
Mr Con of these websites knows it is very important to switching trading name and bank accounts to avoid merchant account suspensions.?powerful_Rogue wrote: »hpuse - Have you or will you be complaining to your local MP and the Office of Fair Trading about these sites?
If you can "read" my attitude from my posts, why you still need an explicit "answer" ? For the purpose of stats/numbers?0 -

:rotfl:Your posts do make me chuckle! Maybe you could remind me what "mud ive thrown"
I said "these" sites - Incorporating passports, driving licences, EHIC, tax returns etc have been around for years. Sums up exactly what has been said all the way through this thread - people need to start reading!
Why not just give a straight answer and stop playing games. Its not difficult. Have you, or will you be contacting your local MP and the Office of Fair Trading regarding "these" sites?0 -
Well done! I am really pleased.
If there are a number of disputes and chargebacks in a month - then they will soon get their merchant account suspended. That is what I was told by a friend. Its will be some "years" come June. Facts speaks for itself.

Your two posts negate each other.
Either they are switching to avoid acc suspensions, or they will with enough complaints get their accs suspended.
Which is it, and what is with your writing style? Genuinely curious as it takes me a long time to decipher your posts, not always successfully.63 mortgage payments to go.

Please realise, its not too late : there were a lot of "wasted unpowerful words of wisdom", on this thread. Asking someone to "read" after they have bought something is ludicrous!. Most of the posters who come here can read, and "not reading" is not a crime neither.
I once again repeat, legal business(es) that rely on customer "not reading" labels or small prints on products or services they are selling to make a profit doesn't go far too long in a steady healthy state..... If you can show me an "online exception" I would be glad to take more lessons from you...:D. Chill.0 -
While a lot of people are saying that this website is quite legal the terms and conditions say if you wish to cancel you may do so less admin charge they are still not prepared to give the money back so surely this is illegal.I know I to have been caught cancelled straight away still not having any response to my emails.0

What makes you think its illegal? What law have they broke?0 -
In my view, life will be somewhat difficult without a driving license or Passport to prove identity, when/where required..
You may find this link useful

I don't have a driving licence. The only time I have ever used my passport is when travelling abroad - presumably if I didn't do that, I wouldn't need a passport either. And no, I don't life off-grid - I work in local government and have a mortgage0 -

OK - which website did you use?
This thread was started about UK-Passport.net but there has been recent discussion about a number of similar named websites.
You say you have had no reply to your emails requesting a refund.
Are you absolutely sure you have used the correct email address to request your refund?
This is usually stated in the T&Cs and often differs from the standard email address for the company concerned.
If you have used the correct email address are you absolutely sure you have provided all the information requested by this company?
Most people who have used a website that does say they will refund do actually get a refund.0 -

OK, Hpuse
Maybe we should be asking someone to 'understand' what they are reading - 'cos it seems that not a lot of people posting that they have been conned, scammed or ripped-off appear to be able to do that.
I do agree that 'not reading' is not a crime.
However, 'not reading' in these circumstances can come with a financial impact.
Quite often a £69.00 financial impact.I once again repeat, legal business(es) that rely on customer "not reading" labels or small prints on products or services they are selling to make a profit doesn't go far too long in a steady healthy state..... Well, how long do you want to go back?
Some of the EHIC companies were in business when OFT started their investigation on 14th July 2011 and, as I've posted before, OFT found:Based on the results of its investigation and the improvement in online searches, the OFT has concluded that potential for significant consumer detriment is low and there is insufficient evidence of breaches of consumer protection legislation to warrant prioritising formal enforcement action in this instance.
I would urge anyone who feels they have been ripped-off by one of these companies to do as OFT ask and provide evidence to OFT!It may reconsider its decision in the future if it receives further evidence of suspected infringements, or its prioritisation assessment changes.
Hpuse.
Chill yourself. :rotfl:0 -
For all the "me's" & "I"s in the forum here is another passport fact - 83% of the population has at least one passport.
http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/dcp171778_290685.pdf
To all those who think they "don't" use a passport or "need" a passport even though they got one. It does not matter, and it is highly irrelavant to the context of discussion here.
Why ? ...Simple. This website is all about coning people those who "apply" for a passport, not using it.0
