Can't I argue from the point of view that I ordered before the changes took place?
Not sure...
Have they actually started your contract or are they waiting for handset to process your order?
You could argue the case as you say, not sure what their response is likely to be. Would you cancel the contract if the 0845/0844/0800 calls wern't included? maybe you could use that as additional bargaining power?0 -

Wel, i took the contract out for that reason only. If they say that 0845 are not included, i wil jus tel them that I am not interested in it anymore.
Let me see what she says when she calls back tomorrow. I don't think they wud hv started the contract. Handset is out of stock and they r waitin to receive it still. But I placed the order before the new T&Cs came into place, so I might b able to talk to them from that point of view.0 -
I am still on my old tariff though. On 4th May, it will automatically change to new tariff.
I am in the same position to you in that i am finishing my old contract wef 27/04/07 and so i phoned on Tuesday and was offered a new deal 12 months- but it wont come into force till the 4th as this is when the call month expires.
My billing dates are 8th to thr 7th of each month.
As such presumably even thoiugh it is not my fault i will not be allowed to make 0870 calls form this date using my inclusive minutes?Mark Hughes' blue and white army0 -

If you read this thread, the O2 link above or the 0845/0870 O2 thread, you'll find that it's too late.
All new/upgrade connections on O2 as of TODAY will be tied to the new T&Cs0 -
How Many Times Have I Got To Say This ????
It Depends What Billing System You Are On, Not All Are Charged For !!0
