Level 2

Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen, air the bed if possible - skipping this, as the bed sheets got changed on Monday and I'm not unmaking the bed again just to run the vacuum over it - I'll try and remember next Monday though
[strike]15 minutes floordrobe clearance [/strike] - didn't take that long, we're not too bad at the moment
Level 3
[strike]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/strike][strike]
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed[/strike] - how on EARTH did I end up with 19 pairs of black tights when I wear them twice a year at most???
Clear a hotspot., or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more- 27 fling boogie time, time for that midweek fling, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
- Clean windows in these rooms
- Check the airing cupboard, anything that is way past it's use by (maybe recycle for rags if possible, you could donate old sheets oor towels to a local animal rescue for bedding)
- [strike]Clean tops of wardrobes and drawers (if safe to do so, no pregnant flyladies on ladders please delegate the job instead) [/strike] - another lampshade vacuumed out as well, which was just as :eek::eek::eek: as yesterday's!
- Check through undies drawers, anything more holy than the church which needs to go/be repaired? Anyone need anything replacing?
- Give everyone at home a bag to collect the things which belong to them that are not where they should be, give them 15 minutes to find them all and put them away

Cazmanian_minx, must be the day for it because I've just got back from getting our dog jabbed - got her glands done too for good measure cos I'm mean like that
Mrs-Moneypenny, hope your Dad is OK and that the tests will help diagnose the problem so he can be treated accordingly. Awful when your parents are in hopsital isn't it ((hugs))
Julytex, sorry to hear you're having problems with DS and his GF; like you said if there's no problems from her family they should just stay there. Don't feel you're ranting, this is as much a place for rants/concerns as Flying and we all have different 'stuff' we're going through.
Just having my cup of coffee and then going to tackle our bedroom - DH has slung loads of his carp over the bed so will have a sort through what I can. When out earlier I took 3 bags to the CS :T; the house is beginning to look a bit clearer in some areas.
My other jobs for today are:
Clean out chooks (didn't get round to it yesterday
)
Try again to get hold of tenants and organise safety checks
Ironing
Start party wall work for PK

Dusty - meant to ask yesterday, is one of yoiur boys off to university this time?
DS1 is having a gap year but had decided not to apply/go at them moment as there was not a course he wanted to do enough. He is currently applying for Camp America and is then going to try to plan for after that. He still works at the golf driving range and worked at JL in the lead up to Christmas. He likes working but did not enjoy studying so I think for now he is doing the right thing. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Good morning everyone
So glad to hear that your DD is OK, Mumof2. Don't children love to scare you!
(((Hugs))) to you mrs-moneypenny for your dad.
I was up at 6.15 this morning and by 6.45 had made and decluttered a mug of tea, put together DH's packed lunch, finished all the ironing (3 shirts!) and virus-checked my computer before reading emails and doing online banking.
Since DH left for work I have tidied the kitchen, S&S'd the ensuite and concentrated on the master bedroom, as per Natty's list. (Our landing is thankfully so small that there is no space to leave anything out apart from the smoke alarm, which I have checked, and I hoovered out the light shade after reading caz_minx's post yesterday!) In addition to clearing DH's floordrobe and hoovering and dusting the whole bedroom, I have gone through most of my wardrobe and chest of drawers and decided what could be flung (done), sent to CS (bagged) or eB@yed (moved down to DR for processing). I've also sorted the towels cupboard and cleared the big drawer under my side of the bed
You will gather than sorting DH's wardrobe, chest of drawers and under-bed storage will take more energy than I have left for today! Most of the stuff under his side of the bed is old railway uniform - sadly not of great historical interest
I am now enjoying a sit-down and :coffee: - anyone care to join me? (I might need a second cup to get my brain in gear for written work :rotfl:)
Hope everyone has a good day, especially you, SB5 - try to catch up on some sleep.0 -
thanks all, had an update from step mum but not really any wiser till after todays tests (which will hopefully get done)
been round mils to mend the wallpaper seam, hoping it will be acceptable but the wall paper has shrunk slightly so you can still see a line about 1/8 inch between pieces of paper, but they arent hanging away from the wall now.
just going to grab a coffee try again to ring my sister then go work.
'see' you this aftySPC~12 ot 124

Good for you :TWhy they couldn't they just stay at hers and accept our rule - we don't have many
You stood your ground and they went back to hers; next time they will think twice as they didn't get what they wanted this time (GF staying at yours) and you, although bl**dy tired, got what you wanted (no GF staying at yours). You have the upper hand... keep up the good work
I need to find a list...*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
Really attacking our bedroom today - even to the extent of taking stuff off the shelves and then wiping down the shelves with a damp cloth !! Emptied DH's bin (not sure when it was last emptied as ALWAYS covered with his books/stuff etc
), wiped down the window frames, panelled door (even the top - get me!) and our bedroom furniture plus light fittings.
Now stopping for lunch; feeling distinctly off colour as my legs feel heavy, even though I rode on Saturday my legs shouldn't still be like this and I really think I've picked up a low level virus. Feel shaky too. Good news is I've got last night's left over roasted veg for lunch yummy!!
After lunch - back to bedroom to vacuum floor, strip bed, vacuum mattress and leave to air. Will put fresh bedding on later.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
