    Morning all

    right recap of yesterday.

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
    Level One
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Move clutter so you can vacuum under it
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas[/STRIKE]

    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)

[STRIKE]Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe[/STRIKE]This was great to get done as the bannisters on the stairs have been bugging me for days and it was good to have the discipline to get them clean.

Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
    • Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean? All curtains need a clean so will take them down in pairs and get them done at the cleaners.
    • Check where important documents like passports, birth certificates, driving licences, medical cards are and make a note of where they are and if any need replacing, changing etc
    • Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW- book flights for half term - done and subscribed to magazine to save money.
    • Clean any ornaments, mirrors, clocks or other dust collecting collections done whilst doing the dusting.
    • Clean out the vacuum cleaner, empty the bag/bucket, clean filters if they are washable MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PUT THEM BACK UNTIL THEY ARE DRY! Done just before xmas so don’t need doing again

  • morning.
Glad DD is ok Mumof2, must have been very scary for you.

today is my living room day according to my new plan, I done master bedroom yesterday.
    Need to
    hoover thoroughly
    de-clutter
dust thoroughly, moving things instead of round them lol.
    clean TV
    Clean mirror

    also dailys -
    make beds
    clean toilet
    wipe sides
    wash up
    sweep/hoover
    tidy before bed
washing load on and hang to dry

also need to put everything back on my computer as it all crashed yesterday and I had to back up and re-install it all so now i have nothing on it.

    should keep me busy.
  • Morning, Morning

I have been to bed although it doesn't feel like it.....DS stayed in his own bed for about 30 minutes after my last post, but he sleeps like a star fish, so I often wake up on a tiny corner of my bed with him sprawled in the middle :rotfl:

DD3 was busting door off its hinges this morning - retrieved DD1 presents for her on the proviso that everything in her room including the floor had to be found a home for and wardrobe doors shut properly before going to school - challenge was 95% complete as there are two HEAVY bags at the bottom of one of her wardrobes that had slipped forward and are preventing the door from closing :(

DD3 is very pleased with her presents and was busy trying on her new stuff before she put her make up on for school.

DS is just stirring now, so while DD3 was sorting her room.....I did a couple of 27 fling boogies across DD1, DD2 and my room, straightened DD1/DD2 beds (so even if i don't get round to stripping the beds today, they at least look tidier;))
cleared tops of all chest of drawers in DD1 and my room, moved all DD2 gibble on to just ONE of her chest of drawers, so she can sort it later:) folded some more towels and straightened up the airing cupboard

I must admit it looked worse than it was, but so much better for a bit of time in each room

I would love to crack out the hoover at this point, but I don't want to, I need to save some spoons for later

time to get DS up and running for nursery......I will be back for a lurk and a cuppa later :p
The cold never bothered me anyway

Soooo tired today, not sure how much I will get done - don't even want to go to work later.

Having problems with darling stepson again who, at the age of 18 seems to think he runs the house and we have no say

He sneaked his girlfriend in over night Saturday against our wishes (and possibly Friday as well but we cant prove it - they had left before we got up, but the bright orange makeup in the bathroom was a bit of a clue ;)). Last night we get a text at midnight (which woke us up) asking if she can stay so she can drive him to work this morning. His dad said no as we had already said that she was not to stay, so they both drive back anyway!!!!!!

So to cut a long story short we didn't get to sleep until at least 3am by the time it was dealt with - DSS went back to the GF's in a strop to stay = her mum doesn't mind (GF is a bit older than him), we were all late up, DD and DP late for school & work and I'm exhausted!

Why they couldn't they just stay at hers and accept our rule - we don't have many :(

Anyway rant over hope everyone else has a good day - Hugs etc. where needed
