OH has invited a work colleague to stay for three nights next week and for some reason has now gone all precious on me and decided the house should be [STRIKE]tarted up[/STRIKE] cleaned properly. I have spent the day shuffling laundry, dragging the Dy$son around, shifting furniture and microfibre cleaning various dog-white-chocolate marks off the carpet. I have a listy, and tomorrow it will be the bathroom, the shower room and washing various floors. I am a bit ahead of myself - the oven is still sparkley, and I've done the sink and the hob, and the kettle and toaster look like new. The dog doesn't, and I don't but hey ho, you can't have everything.
It's just as well it's his turn to cook tonight because he'd be on bread and scrape if it were my turn.Better is good enough.0 -
Right, my blood sugar has gone through the roof.....time for the lesser of two evils, need to burn off some sugar to get myself back in range quickly as I can't be off to hospital tonight on DD3 birthday (wretched little piece of cake:mad:, should have treated it as a meal)
Going to do a good HHHoovering and then test again anyone else fancy joining - feeling miserable as sin right nowThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -
Good Evening all Hugs and spoons for all who need them
cazmanian_minx- Our Dogbots love the waiting room of the vets bur as soon as they have to go in they try and let themselves out of the building and little one will piddle everywhere:o

Didn't get much Uni work done today as DD and her friend were at home and being very noisey. Then I had to go to work for a while, which dragged me away from my books and by the time I got back DS was busy playing Xbox in the room. I had planned to do HH exercise today but not feeling to good so I am now snuggled on the couch after doing some flying.

Wow still seems a lot to do but I'm not up to it today,so it can wait until the master bedroom comes round next week.0 -
Hi Skintbreeder - I hope your sugar levels soon settle. I'll join you in a 'HH everything' for me (except hoovering!). I need to tidy things in the kitchen, get our meal on - just a grill with veggie sausages, so won't take long - wash the cats dishes, sort out old papers etc, so will get a move on!
Today, I've cleaned our bedroom, walked neighbour's dogs, done shopping and cleaning for sick friend, but sat on my b-u-m since late afternoon, mostly with new cat on me, and tried to read - but that was hard as he's a big cat who takes up a lot of space!!
Anyway, here I go and get sorted! Good vibes to everyone and good health vibes to anyone feeling poorly. R x
Help - not moved yet as other cat now on me! While I'm here I wanted to send best wishes to Mrs Moneypenny's dad, I do hope his results are good news.
Oops, off I go, back later!0 -
Thanks RT - hallway done, BRBThe cold never bothered me anyway0
