Right, blood sugar only a bit above normal so time to stop flying now and let the frenzy of cleaning carry on "burning" the excess sugar while skintbaby and I rest up -while I keep stabbing and checking how it is doing.
Stupid Mr Krippelling and his exceedingly good cakes - one little mouthful caused all this aggro :mad: being pregnant with a chronic health condition is not easy by a long stretch, but they are always worth it in the end
Now to fell the tree trunks that are my legs - actually worth looking at the list now and seeing what I can strike off now, then some definite ME time
The cold never bothered me anyway0 -

I am a bit ahead of myself - the oven is still sparkley, and I've done the sink and the hob, and the kettle and toaster look like new. The dog doesn't, and I don't but hey ho, you can't have everything.
It's just as well it's his turn to cook tonight because he'd be on bread and scrape if it were my turn.
Honey Bear, you are an absolute :A
If I were you, I should book pampering sessions at OH's expense for myself *and* the dog (with different beauticians, of course!)
:rotfl::rotfl:
Why not let OH show off his cooking skills to the visitor one evening, so that you can put your feet up? Perhaps they'd care to wash up together as well? :eek:
Oh - just look at that! - do I see a pig-shaped shadow passing across the moon?0 -

Sorry not posting much..having problems with LO at school still...went to get BabyD from nursery today and he was sat on a chair outside his class,he was totally sobbing and all alone I was very uoset..he had lost his temper in class again and been sent out ..he is just 6...seemed wrong to me..he is really struggling ,have made a doctors appointment next week to get the ball rolling if he needs assessing...OH sent me a link to an ADD/Adhd site and it described him perfectly...not just a naughty boy who lacks discipline as his teacher said:mad:...sorry for the rant,always helps to get it out for me and have no one else to talk to really xx
Ahh be careful Skint breeder..try to take it easy xx

Ionafan - you're lovely! And believe it or not, he will be cooking on the third night!
In the meantime, he's off to a 90th birthday party over the weekend on the other side of the country :shudder: to which I was invited, but of course 'couldn't leave the dog' - one of the reasons I got her in the first place. Works every time.
My deadline is Tuesday 15 January, and it's a project I've been working on for two years, so this guest, much as I like him, isn't coming at the best of times for me, but OH is generally pretty supportive so I can't complain. He's never really been that interested in the state of the house before, but he even dusted his own office today. He must be coming down with something.
Go for it Optimistic Mummy! I finally managed to stop after 30 years of puffing like a good 'un about six years ago. Wishing you well for it.Better is good enough.0
