Since my last post I have

    De pooped the litter tray
    Cleared drainer
Put fruit & veg away from market
    Cleaned sink
    Cleaned bin lid
    Washed up
    Wiped sides
    Folded load of clean laundry
    Td x 1
Put rabbits to bed and found the kitten hiding from the rain in the shed, he's still out there despite me leaving the back door open a kitten sized amount so it can't be bothering him that much
Decluttered some painkillers because my hips and legs are aching like mad

Quick pit stop then i'm off to cook tea and see if I can get a bit more done while it's cooking.

skint - your DD3 sounds like a treasure - what a good help she is.

Enjoyed my walk out - it did me the power of good. Came back and washed wellies, prepared dinner and did school run. Sorted out a bit of filing and 3 baskets of washing and then OH came in and ran me a bath. Dinner decluttered and just waiting for the young'uns to do the dishes. Chilling out tonight and nothing more than pootering on the pooter is on the agenda.

Enjoy your evenings everyone and thanks for the get well vibes - they worked a treat

THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 2016
  • TMD - the goodwill has run out with DD3, she is now back to winding up DS....I think she thought I could suddenly magic a big birthday present out of the air for tomorrow on the strength of a bit of help around the house

    Evening all

Welcome to the newbies and returnees, good to see you on here :D

Well today was official the start of me being not needed anymore at my friends :( Although DH was happy as he had seen me getting ill with my various ailments and I was going downhill a bit. I woke up not quite sure what to do with myself so made a pact with myself that I will be doing my lists again (I had lapsed!) and then the house will get back in shape and the ironing pile will actually get smaller rather than get bigger..lol So I will actually have 4 days at home and not having to rush around after anyone anymore, and then one day I have to go to therapy in the middle of the day. So I expect that day will be a bit of a nono for me :D

I pottered around, made a few phonecalls, sorted out a couple of important things that I had been avoiding for a while :D Tidied up the house and even did my list and I can proudly say my downstairs looks lovely :D

Oh and for those that are wondering I did feed the birdies, but unfortunately I didn't get the usual suspects come down - I think they were waiting for tea time :D

g&b I'm so sorry hon, huge hugs for you, hope you are doing okay. I think flying can go on a backburner this week, at least until you have managed adjust.
mumof2 well done on ignoring the offending person :D
mummyof5 hope yesterdays trip to Meadowhall wasn't too stressful.
Also hope those that have been up really early aren't feeling tired now and wishing they were asleep :D
skintbreeder hope you are doing okay today and the spoon drawer is fully restored to it's glory.
PenPen so please for your son and his offer of his first uni :D I bet he's really chuffed.

    Morning all

G&B hugs, give yourself time to adjust sweetie, how is your DD?
Hi Dusty, DD is good right now, she's not 100% up to speed with what's going on. It's really hard, as despite me telling him he can have as much contact with her as he wants he is cutting all contact and has said he'll reappear when she's 16. Not sure I can bring myself to tell her he will be gone for 7 years at least:(

He's been a total knob about the whole thing, I understand he is hurting and didn't want it to end but he is hurting DD by doing this.

I have decided I am a swan - paddling like mad but outwardly serene...

and today's swan-like behaviour has been to do a washload; put it in the TD while I had my shower (all on Economy 7);) and to empty, this morning, the DW which I popped on during the night.

And, along with two colleagues, we have skilfully moved a parent's evening to another week thus enabling another colleague to go on a week long, all expenses paid jolly to 'somewhere exotic' with her hubby! She's rather pleased. (Hubby is 'in the public eye', hence the jolly;))

GnB (((hugs))) - sometimes they strike out where they can...hope he changes his mind though.
