    Hi all,

I lack any drive to get what I should do done and end up sitting on this forum half the day, and then having a big rush to do everything at the end of the day.

Snap! I do find I get more done as I respond really well to the "guilt" of having to own up in writing to what I've done....that's why I managed to lose weight before Xmas by recording all food on a programme; just knowing that if I ate something I'd have to log it on the computer was enough to make me think twice about whether I actually wanted to eat it. But yes, reading the forum is very addictive and time consuming......

Anyway, haven't started house flying yet today. Couldn't go to gym as usual as my car's in garage having work done, so I had a lesson on my OH's horse instead. That and mucking out as well as the cycling 10mins each way to the stables must count as some sort of exercise. Come to think of it, mucking out surely counts as housework?

    After coffee my plan is:
    blitz bedroom
    semi-blitz kitchen
catch up on a couple of bits of private work
hm, not going to be too ambitious with promises as I'm picking car up around 5pm then going to cinema.

    BLITZ AT 2PM ANYONE?
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

Feeling a bit upset as I posted on another money forum on here asking for advice and got blasted by someone who obviously has a personal problem - why are people like that? Won't let it get to me but still hurtful.

There are some screwed up people out there who try to make up for their own shortcomings by putting other people down. Nasty. Just think how nice YOU are and how sad they must be, sat there typing bile, the twerps *winks at LW* S*D 'EM!!

G&B chin up chicken, and you too elle. You will come through it and you will be stronger. Big hugs to you both xx

So many new people :j :T Welcome everyone!! Keep posting so we get to know you. We are a nice bunch.

Natty thank you for this week's lists and thank you dusty for last week :A I'm reporting in late as I was working yesterday and came home to find DD has a sick bug so I've been on nursing duty _pale_ and everything else has taken a back seat. She seems to be settled now so I'll crack on...

GWS vibes to all the poorlies, whatever your poorly state xx

I've decided to go for levels one and two only, and one extra mission per day.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Clean floors in these rooms
    Clear and clean kitchen surfaces
    Clean cupboard door fronts
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Wipe dining table, polish if required (clean table cloth if necessary)
Check the fridge contents, anything that has gone fuzzy? Anything you can use in this weeks meal plan? How about making use-it-up soup:D Anything leaking that needs wiping?

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must
Move clutter so you can vacuum under it
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?

    Have a great afternoon everyone.

Fresh air will do you good TMD but don't try to do too much.

In my HHC (which was actually a 50 minute challenge) I sorted out washing and have spent the rest of the time sorting out DD's drawers in the lounge and thrown out a lot of stuff plus a fair bit for CS. Been quite happy singing along with Take That on the computer - just as well I'm on my own in here at the moment!!

Next up: put stuff I've sorted in bags for CS, chuck out stuff that needs chucking, feed dog and then make yet more phone calls ....

  • Lots of washing folded and away, kitchen tidied, DW loaded, WM on again, I'm carrying on until 3pm - catch me if you can :p
