Good morning! The tree and decorations were taken down yesterday, though I woke up to "snail trails" on the hall carpet runner this morning :eek::eek::eek::eek: This is the first time we've had that in this house, and I think a slug/snail has been hiding in the tree pot  Cue early-morning hoovering - sorry children who were still sleeping
Good news is that DS has an offer from his first choice university :T so he can now get down to lots of revising
Off to visit some charity shops, then off with DD to see more art. Valli - the Pre-Raphelite exhibition lived up to all my expectaions, and I bought the book
Off to find a list ..........:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Morning! So my husband officially left last week.....
Mixed emotions even though it was my decision it's still raw and scary.
My mum and dad have been great, they came up on Sunday and we blitzed the flat so most of my flying is donePlace is looking pretty good, we have broken the back of it, just need to sort through and declutter more stuff.
Not read the thread yet, hope everyone is ok xxThe trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

I've just unscrewed the living room lampshade and vacuumed all the dust out of it - the difference in light levels is quite :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: I don't think it's been done since it was put up - we've lived here 4.5 years and the house was empty for 2 years before we moved in!0 -
Morning All
Tackled yesterdays list as soon as dinner was past, does help that DH is nightshift and has dinner ready for me coming in, DH also stripped my bed & changed it for me, methinks he is after brownie points.Todays list should be easy as LR was gutted when tree came down last week, even washed the sofa n chairs and DH said last night he would do stairs for me today when he got up (that’s his job because of the dust/cat hair and my allergies) leaves me time to concentrate on the ironing which I didn't get done last night as didn’t finish the list until 8 so was a bit pooped after being on the go since 5.45!
Natty, thank you for the list this week, I thanked Dusty yesterday instead but that was last weeks (brain was obviously still not back in gear after festive break)- Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
All done :j– oven shelves will be finished tonight, left them and the oven overnight in oven pride
