Skintbreeder5 - When are you going to slow down! You do not need to be doing ANYthing!!!

Kaz the answer to your question is .....today!!!! Spoon thief came and emptied the whole wretched cutlery drawer, not a spoon, spork or spatula to be found :mad::mad: then a different spoon thief came along and tried all over again - I hate it when people with no moral values try and kick someone when they are already compromised (for whatever reason)

It has been an uphill struggle to take all my meds on time and eat.

DD1 de-cluttered to train station to go back to uni, and DS retrieved from nursery - that is the sum total of my achievements today.

DD3 has done stab and nuke for tea, fed DW and made cups of tea.:T:T:T

DD2 is staying out tonight at a friends, so no more help tonight.

Hospital tomorrow to check the metal work in my mouth is adjusted and no loose bits to cause a problem if I have to have a General A unexpectedly, so flying tomorrow is going to be limited if at all.

So glad that I spent the last 3 months here with everyone getting things straight, I would be crying my eyes out right now if the house was in CHAOS with everything that is going to the wall right now.

DD3 has just brought me a cuppa and a small biscuit to keep me going - bless her, so a quick lurk, and I will be back to post tomorrow even if I do nothing:)
The cold never bothered me anyway

    Hiya

Had a great day flying today - spent all morning doing the Kitchen, Dining Room and Bathroom as I've decided to tackle 2 rooms each Monday to get ahead as it's my only weekday off. Then spent all afternoon tackling paperwork and looking to reduce pennies on my utilities. DFriend came round with her 3 kids with a HUGE gammon (to feed 14 people) which was whoopsied to £5 in MrM and as I have the largest pan, we did it here. I provided the veggies and we cooked it between us. Plenty left for sandwiches for both families and freezer portions plus about 5 litres of stock for soup - I love a bargain and I love my friend :A

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
[*]Clean OVEN, yes I know you all hate that one wonder how many choose it

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
    Level Three
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe
    /QUOTE]

Have rang work for tomorrow and Wednesday's duties and they've said to combine it into 1 day and come in on Wed instead so another Brucie Bonus and will tackle 2 rooms again tomorrow.

Off for a mooch about the threads now.

Have a restful night all (especially SkintBreeder5)

So much inspiration and laughter on this board - thanks everyone, it makes it all a bit easier!

Phew, that was a hard day! "found" the dining room, and spent hours sorting through piles, wiping down table and chairs, cupboards, worktops etc. Have deleted what I've done off the list so I can do a "rollover" with the rest (is that allowed?!)

Am very excited to see it's living room tomorrow! (is that a bit sad?) I am very motivated to get stuck in to it as kids are back to school tomorrow and we have visitors coming at weekend so needs to be A1.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Rolling over til Tue:
    wipe placemats
wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky

Aiming at level 3 for living room and stairs tomorrow plus, of the extras:
Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?
Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
Clean any ornaments, mirrors, clocks or other dust collecting collections

Personal goal: Go through drawers in living room binning what I can (10 drawers of assorted bits, bobs, paperwork etc. - eek!!!!!)

    Evening all

I lost the plot at the end of last week, but made a good start to this one. :D

Early start at work, then hoovered LR and bottom of stairs when I got in,followed by tidying/cleaning random things in the kitchen. Started making tea after about an hour, then bath. Took DH into town, switched DW and WM on and watched a short DVD with DS2 before putting him to bed.

Going to do school work for an hour now before picking up DS1 from work and collapsing in bed.

I'll only have time to read back a little bit, but I want to try to post every day. Since so much needs doing I figure that if I spend an hour doing something, I can't go wrong. I'll get back to the lists when I'm a bit more on track.

Night all - hugs, spoons and positive vibes as appropriate. x
  • Late home fromwork. Level one not achieved - but

    Kitchen surfaces cleaned
    Dishwasher emptied and reloaded
    Fridge cleared and wiped out
All clothes drying in dining room sorted
    Bin emptied

Enough for tonight - hopefully better tomorrow

Thanks to everyone for inspiration and sticks today. I have done odd bits off the list, but more importantly I have done my first piece of written work since the week before Christmas and am fired up to do the next one tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your spoon thief, Skintbreeder. Here, have some of mine to keep you going tomorrow, but don't overdo it, please.

DH is out this evening, so I will go and make myself a hot drink and wipe out and sort the fridge while the kettle is boiling - it won't take long as it's almost empty. I need to do a mammoth shop tomorrow, or Wednesday at the latest. We are living on home-made frozen food, but that's what it's there for.

Absolutely! No need to roll it over though, it'll all appear again next week! The ladies in Central Command will see to that! :rotfl:
