Macpep1 gosh you've had a bad time of it haven't you with the norovirus; poor you and yours :(

Done hardly anything from my list but had 2 hours out this morning with friends and done all my typing (3 jobs) so have at least earned some money. DD's just got in through the door from school so time for a cuppa and then we'll go and fetch DS from football club.

Will try to be a bit better on the list tomorrow but can't promise anything. Still feeling a bit rough tbh so a quiet day won't have hurt me.

    Hi all,

Just a bit of an update. Been quite busy today been to the doctors and shopping for medicine for my poorly DP, have had a go at cleaning though.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
Clean floors in these rooms - have swept and hoovered floor with my mini vacuum cleaner.
    Level Two
Clear and clean kitchen surfaces- done
    Clean cupboard door fronts
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front - did this yesterday after whoopsie shopping and have chosen tonights meal based on what needs using first.
Wipe dining table, polish if required (clean table cloth if necessary) - done daily before tea
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
    Clean fronts of appliances
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky - will be getting DP to do this when he returns as i'm not sure how it comes apart.
    Extra Mission:

    Choose one or more of:
    • Clean inside of fridge
    • Check the fridge contents, anything that has gone fuzzy? Anything you can use in this weeks meal plan? How about making use-it-up soup:D Anything leaking that needs wiping? - done
Additional jobs included washing/drying up (which i've done but already a small pile is building up after i made some fairy cakes). Putting out recycling rubbish. Sorting out tumble dryer. Daily load of washing. Sorted out massive pile of mine and DP's clothes that were thrown on the floor in the bedroom. Putting up a few items for sale on my local selling website.

Looking forward to tomorrows challenge now.

    Suze :)

    Evening all :) And a HNY :)

I've been MIA mostly for about 3yrs, but I am determined that this year I am going to be mostly in :)

I've gone back to work full time, so need to be a bit more organised.

Pre-Christmas and over the festive period we have done a fair amount to try and find floors / walls and surfaces, and we have agreed that we need to do what we did in the "old days" and do a weekly clean up on a Friday night and reward ourselves once done with a takeout ...

Over the weekend all the decos were taken down and put away, and DH has done a tip run this evening and the recycling has gone :)

Not done a great deal today, as it was my last day and DD's last off, so we've done mother / daughter things .. tomorrow, however, back to the grind, so it'll be good to try and get at least level 1 done on a daily basis.

    Looking at today's:

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room

    Clean floors in these rooms
    Level Two
    Clear and clean kitchen surfaces
    Clean cupboard door fronts
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front

    Extra Mission:

    Choose one or more of:
    • Clean inside of fridge
    • [STRIKE]Clean a window or 2 in these rooms[/STRIKE] Cleaned the kitchen door, which is all panes of glass and has been bugging me for weeks.
    • [STRIKE]Clean OVEN, yes I know you all hate that one wonder how many choose it[/STRIKE] Did the hob. The oven was done pre-Christmas, but will redo in a couple of weeks
    • [STRIKE]Clean tops of kitchen cupboards and high places (if safe to do so-if you're pregnant delegate the job to someone else!!!)[/STRIKE] DH repainted the kitchen just before Christmas, and at that point cleaned the top of the cupboards and put lining paper on the tops, so that we can change easily when required.
    • [STRIKE]Check the fridge contents, anything that has gone fuzzy? Anything you can use in this weeks meal plan? How about making use-it-up soup:D Anything leaking that needs wiping?[/STRIKE] Got rid of oozy stuff and can almost see the back of the fridge.

Dailies done and level one of kitchen. Been to work and its been so busy I'm shattered tonight. I don't know where everyone came from today.

I'm off to wash the dishes and maybe get a bit more done in there. Check and see if the towels are dry and get them put away.

    Welcome to newbies and returners.

Work a bit manic and absolutely bursting with a cold so came home on a mission to get it sorted. Going to do tea now and then put WM/TD on. That just leaves lunches for tomorrow and bed I think.
