Morning all,
Thank sof or the new list. Kids back in school today and DD is going to a friends after nursery so I have the whole day to myself! But, the bad neck is still niggling so I might have to take things a bit easy today. Anyway, here's my list for today:
Mop kitchen floor
Clear and clean surfaces
Clean cupboard doors and appliance fronts
Sort fridge contents and clean inside of fridge
Polish dining table
Rid kitchen of cobwebs in corners
Clean washer drawer of gunk
Clean windows
My own additions are:
Empty, clean and refill dishwasher
Sort all rubbish and recycling for tomorrow
Finish sorting out leisure activities for the month
Various text messages and replies to emails
Make a new 'to-do' file from and old dress
Finish last years paperwork and move old files to loft, start a new file for 2013.
Phew! Plus of course, walking the dog and cooking meals.
Probably a bit optimistic, but I surprise myself with how much I can get done when I'm on my own. Wish me luck!GROCERY CHALLENGE £400 per month.

Oh good the kitchen! As that will be blitzed fully by the cleaners tomorrow (and actually doesn't look too bad in any case as Dr Dragon gave it a going over last Thursday) I might use today as catch up with those small niggly jobs that get put off (now Dr Dragon has gone back to work

Since my last post I have de pooped litter tray, put recycling out, school run, put petrol in my car, emptied kitchen bin, sorted rabbits, wm & td x 1, folded a load of clean washing.
Just about to have breakfast and then I need to do some work.0 -
In my HC, I discovered we have no hot water
So I've swept the kitchen floor, and piled the dishes neatly so they'll be easy to wash later.
We also have the tree to take down, as we weren't here yesterday for 12th Night :xmastree::rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

Morning All
Happy New Year to you all, hope you have had a lovely time. We all took the Novo Virus on Christmas Eve, my Nana took a stroke on Christmas Day & my aunt (Brought me up) took the Novo Virus but it had a bad reaction with her Fibromyalgia and she was admitted to hospital boxing day!!!
I did enjoy not being at work & just chilling with the kids, also pretty much kept on top of the housework, I did not manage the New Year Ironing Challenge as the virus took the wind out of our sails, took us probably a week to get back to feeling normal.
Flying will resume tonight after the paid stuff. (1st day back today)

Hi, I'm in again! Welcome to all the newbies and good luck! This is a quick post as going to dry hair and get next door's dogs walked, but have fed us and animals, sorted out clean washing and S&S kitchen, but wanted to post early as I have a name for the remaining Froddington rat! What about Harry (as in the lovely, shy-mannered Harry Judd)? Sigh ...........
Back later - prob after work. R x0 -
Morning all and welcome to the newbies
Anyone else found getting up early a shock to the system - I'm rallying myself around with lots of cuppas. Jumped out of bed at 8.20 and dragged DD into the shower and made up her packed lunch, which she forgot to take  so will have to nip to school shortly. This has given me a cunning plan though
I have an announcement - are you sitting down? - cue drumroll
I HAVE DONE MY BATHROOM!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I have worked out why I despise it so much. It is because OH is a painter and decorator and takes a daily bath when he comes in, but doesn't rinse it, therefore when the water has disappeared, I am left with baked-on paint gibble. So, even when I have cleaned it, it never looks showroom standard. I'm glad I've sussed this out as the room is kept tidy constantly and it is uncluttered of things, but it's the overall standard of it that makes it look like carp! Going to make a point of going in with a crafting knife and scrape it all off on bathroom day.
Had a few hot sweats in the night (funny age!) and I'm still in my PJ's doing housework, so my plan is to do the kitchen as much as possible, finish mopping kitchen and bathroom floors and then shower, put WM on and take DD's packed lunch to school. I reckon that gives me about an hour and a half to get it all done! A bit optimistic, but you've gotta be in, to win.
Anyone want to join me for HH chunks of something?
Narc0lepsy Wow, you've been busy! Get you!
2013 Newbie - welcome aboard - the more the merrier!

Extra Mission:
Choose one or more of:
- [strike]Clean OVEN, yes I know you all hate that one wonder how many choose it [/strike]- I'm going for it! The oven's not that old (the old one blew up last year), so if I can keep on top of it then it'll never be too much of a horrible job.

Good morning all  especially Newbies / Returners - good to see you.
Didn't want to wake up this morning when the alarm went off at 6.45 - why does this always happen on work days and never at the weekend when I can actually have a lie-in? But I'm feeling almost human again, which is good
Need to get cracking with computer work, but I have S&S'd kitchen and bathroom, tidied bedroom, decided what we're eating tonight started WM, packed away most of the Christmas decorations, found a few more bits to fling, and decided that I might as well turn my unused dining room into a decluttering warehouse complete with wrapping table and postage scales. There is so much stuff in this house that I need to give away / Freecycle / eB@y / send to CS / take to tip. That way, I can get all the [STRIKE]rubbish[/STRIKE] valuables :rotfl: which are currently cluttering up my study out of my way and have fewer mental interruptions whilst trying to concentrate on work, which is now becoming urgent - new course starts next Monday and not ready yet!
cyclingyorkie, I have PM'd you about a possible Flylady Meet in York. Have you looked in your inbox recently?
:coffee: and toast, then on with the work - perhaps I will actually achieve something by lunchtime.
Please help yourselves to :coffee: and then join me in HHSomething from 10.30 to get me started!0
