    Hi all newbie here :)

As i am on maternity leave now i need something to give me some structure to my day and this thread is perfect. Desperately hoping my nesting instinct will kick in soon, but since starting maternity leave i've been writing lists of jobs to do each day to make sure the house is clean.
Copied and pasted list and have removed things that i won't be doing/don't need to do and adding any extras.

Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky - will be getting DP to do this when he returns as i'm not sure how it comes apart.

Extras include washing/drying up (i'm a nightmare for this, usually do the previous days each morning or before DP gets home). Taking out recycling rubbish.

Now Christmas is out of the way, I'm back again.

I'm hoping that this will get my mojo going again as I seem to have lost it somewhere along the way.

Greet welcome back, is it easy to make butter?

Very easy in a Kenwood! Otherwise it involves lots and lots of shaking :) There's several threads on it, I think, but I could only find this one:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/129491&

Basically you overwhip cream until the buttermilk separates out (hence also having scone baking on my list! :D) Wash the solids off in cold water, pat and squidge together (having first added salt if you want to)

Quick update before collecting DS3 from preschool in a mo:

Supermarket shopping done and away (will need Sainsbobs tomorrow, but hit Aldi for as much as poss today)
