Peaty we have a 3 bedroom now but with OHs son being 11 and his daughter 9 I am pretty sure they can't share for too long as once puberty hits they will need their own space. :o

Got paid Friday, £1293 which is a bit more than normal as we got bonus last month and looks like we will be getting it this month too so next months pay will be about the same!

Paid another £200 off the loan and £200 off the Barclaycard.

Rang HSBC and got the settlement figure for my loan, its £6296 so looking to borrow another £6k on the mortgage if we can to clear it.

We have our appointment on Tuesday night with the mortgage advisor, hoping we can get a payment of around £570 per month as we will then be able to overpay it by about £100 a month as our payment now is £663.

If I clear the loan with the money from the mortgage then I will spend next few months chucking the £200 I have been using for my loan payments towards the barclaycard to get the minimum payments down and then when I am back at work (if I can get a job!) will start overpaying the £6k I will owe the mortgage!

Went to see the mortgage advisor today.

Can get a 2yr fix for 2% which will mean our monthly payments are £593 per month which is £70 less than we are paying now.

This includes borrowing an extra £6k to pay off my loan.

So just waiting for that now and once its all gone through and we have the extra cash I can clear my loan.

Sadly I will still owe the cash though but big relief that I can just pay chunks off the mortgage when I have the cash....

So will just have my credit card to deal with when off on maternity leave.

That's great news. Mortgage debt is one of the best to have, it must take a big weight off your shoulders!

How much will you have left to pay off of your CC?

£4360 but its 0% for 2 years still!

So will use the £200 loan payment money I have been paying to pay extra for a few months so hopefully will be about £1k less by time I go on maternity leave then will just have to make minimum payments whilst off.

Just opened up a TSB Classic Plus Account to get the 5% interest, will probably open up a 2nd one as well if I can as that will be £156 in interest if I have two but could probably only keep one filled.....

Even on maternity leave I will have £500 a month coming in!

Might be worth paying into that rather than paying more off the barclaycard.....

Decisions decisions, I am always changing my mind!!! :p

Just convinced OH to upgrade our Lloyds account to a Club Lloyds account for the extra interest as it seems silly to have a current account with money always in it earning nothing if it can earn a little bit.

Lowest it dropped too last month was 2,198.91 so we should get at least 2% interest.

All helps especially with me earning less soon!

Having a housework day today although I might pop to a friends later, I really need to wash my car but I get sooo tired now quickly I am not sure it will get done.

Can get OH to help but it needs a good hoover too, I managed to get the parts to service my car for £45 but still need to get it done which will prob cost me another £60-70.

Don't want it being serviced with it filthy.....

I could take it to a car wash but don't want to spend the money!

Not much to report, 12 days until pay day!

Got a Conveyancer coming out to view house tomorrow to agree valuation....this didn't happen last time, hope they don't value it for a lot less and mess up our LTV!

Got our mortgage deed through but not the offer so won't send that back until we know our offer!

So will be making at least another loan payment/mortgage payment whilst it goes through!

Got my MAT1 form from the midwife on Friday, planning to leave work on Friday 18th July so 10 working weeks left but it might change depending on holiday allowance, supposed to be talking to my boss tomorrow about it!

Spent some money yesterday on my hair cut (first time cut since I got pregnant) that was £34 and £45 on some maternity clothes although that was only to get free delivery, will prob send couple items back! ;)

Used Barclaycard for both purchases so will get a few reward points.

Once payday arrives I can work out how much to pay to my credit card, got until 4th June to pay off the £300 for the buggy, hoping to pay off £500 next time so £300 for buggy plus £200.

Need to remember to move £500 into the TSB account though too to make sure I get my interest!

    Payday in 5 days!

    Had an expensive few days!!!

Our Dyson died on Thursday after 7 years of abuse so had to buy a new cleaner.

I love Dysons but for an animal one its about £300ish quid at the cheapest and with baby on way no way we can afford that so brought a Vax one for £107.49 from Argos, could have got it from Amazon for £99 but we didn't want to have to sit in all day for the delivery Saturday.

Then also got a new duvet and mattress protector from Argos today too so they have had over £140 from us in last few days.

So thats out the house fund!

Then it was one of my best friends 30th yesterday so spent £30 on gift vouchers for her and another £12.79 on amazon on a book and photo album (used £10 gift voucher towards it too otherwise would have been more!).

And got my car serviced (finally!) which cost £72 and just ordered a cat tent :o, automatic cat feeder and cat bed/scratching post from zooplus for £45!

Luckily my Dad has given me another £100 for my car being serviced but sitting in the bank now is £145 plus the £1000 in the Lloyds account.

June should be a cheaper month though as couple more 30ths but they are friends who both currently don't work/we don't do presents so prob just little gifts there!

Although we might go away for a couple nights somewhere as a little babymoon, not sure though.

Not got our mortgage offer through yet, hopefully will be this coming week!

9 weeks left at work, cannot wait to finish, so bored of it now!

Pay day today! 2 days early as would fall on a Sunday.

Not 100% sure where I am with money this month to be honest!

Got 2 more full pay days left and then Augusts pay will be pretty much all there as finish work on July 18th and on holiday from then for 2 weeks before my maternity leave starts.

So from Septembers pay I will be poor!!! :o

We got our mortgage offer through the other day so will send that back and hopefully get the monies sorted soon, hoping its all sorted within next few weeks as will have a loan payment go out next week but would like to have the loan cleared soon so I can chuck some extra cash at the Barclaycard (although Simon might want me to chuck it at the mortgage....)

Paid £105 off the Barclaycard today, will need to pay a larger amount next month as my buggy 0% runs out then.

Have about £500 spending money for month after that but planning on keeping most of it as no major spends due this month. Hopefully will all stay that way!

Will prob wait to buy more baby bits until I finish work as only really need a moses basket, bottles and toiletries now.
