I am forcing myself not to go on there!
Although OH's kids might be moving a bit further away, we were planning on moving to where they are now but if they do move we wont be following them as its middle of nowhere and OH doesn't want to travel even further to work so we need to work out a new area to move too anyway.....:oNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Another pay day - more bills to pay!
Just paid off £213 off credit card 1 with £50 to pay off credit card 2 when statement arrives so will adjust sig accordingly.
Also ordered another years car tax @ £30.
After all other bills and £250 into savings I have £100 spending cash for the month so thats £3.35 per day so need as many NSDs as possible!
Worked out next months budget too and I will have £40 left after all next months bills.
So seriously need to find some extra pennies or not spend any of this months spending money, but thats not going to happen as have some gig tickets to pay for for an event in March and April!
Best get on eBay!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Mmmmm so its payday tomorrow......
After paying all the bills I have to pay which includes my car loan as the first payment comes out tomorrow I will have £327 left but that doesn't include the £250 I usually save nor the 3 credit cards I have to pay off......
So its defo mission eBay this month.....
Also behind on college work again....:o I only have 3 months left until I finish too so I must get caught up!!!
Been ill last 2 weeks which means I have done jack all but I need to get on top of life, moneywise and college wise!
Once April comes things will be easier money wise as my regular saver will mature and I will stop saving and just chuck that £250 at debts each month, or I will fall pregnant and have to keep saving so I can cover my loan payments whilst on maternity leave.....:rotfl:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Soooooooo I haven't done a lot since my last post.....:o
I just don't have the motivation to do anything right now so I need to get back onto sorting things out!
I released that I only have 9 more lessons at college until I finish my course in June and I do have a lot of work still to do.....
I want to be up to date with all my work by the time I go back after easter break so I am planning on taking a couple of days holiday just before I go back to do some catching up but will also need to do some in the lead up to being off too.
Trying for a baby has the thing thats mainly been on my mind last couple of months but I need to put that on back burner until college is done really and try not to worry about why its not happening.
So looking at my college work right now that is still outstanding from the teacher who taught one subject from Sept - End of Jan....
Reproduction Assignment - None done! 5 pieces of work to do for that assignment. 5/5 remaining.
Evolution Assignment - 1 piece of work done, 3 more to do.
3/4 remaining
And I still have one piece of work to amend for another assignment.
Looking at that its not as bad as I thought it was but still need to get my !!!! in gear to do it, I am going to start on the reproduction assignment as the evolution one will need a few early mornings on it.
I also need to draw some tables for an assignment I am doing Tuesday night.
On the money front (as this is dfw) once the next payday has been and my regular saver matures my debt is going to drop off anyway but I do want to start saving for Christmas with vouchers once college is finished and am desperately hoping the weather improves so I can start getting outside the house, am sure this ridicuously long winter is not helping my mood and motivation! Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Ooops nearly another month since I posted!
Not too much progress has happened but a little bit has.
I am now only 3 pieces of college work behind but I finish in 8 weeks so I have to keep on top of all the work thats due to come in those 8 weeks!
Got 3 more new assignments headed my way.
Had a gardener that is my friend round the other day to take a look at our garden and do a quote as it needs work doing before it can be sold and OH is being nagged to finish the bathroom.
Then when I am not doing college work we can focus on the rest of the house.
Was hoping to put it up for sale this summer but it might have to wait, not much point putting it up for sale until I am pregnant anyway and ideally I want to overpay the mortgage a bit more anyway!
Roll on May 10th when I can access my savings, loan will drop down to under £9k then :TNow a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Another payday has arrived!
£195 paid off the loan but did end up using credit card quite a lot month before last so had £250 to pay off that but as no longer saving that was paid easily.
Have approx £250 left for spending cash this month but going to spend as little as possible, do need some new work shirts for the summer though as mine are looking old but hoping to get some cheap ones as hate spending money on clothes for work!
Once my savings mature I will be paying £700 off Virgin Card as one of my 0% deals expires this statement and next month I will be paying off another £400 when another ends.
Then I need to hope I get another balance transfer offer on one of my cards before Dec as will still have £3500 to pay off before end of year!
Prob getting garden work started in next few weeks and thats going to cost £1500.... but it will be good once done, and hoping we will get some of that money back in value when we sell the house.
I will also be able to get loan to under £10k when the savings mature too, little less than I wanted cos of garden work but its a toss up between paying off debt and getting house sorted for sale. Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Big debt pay offs today as savings finally matured!!!
:j
Got £76 interest from it but my loan rate is now higher than the best regular saver I can get so will be overpaying my debts every month from now on!
So paid off £675 from my virgin card which had a 0% run out, will be paying off another £400 next statement and then have 0% on two credit cards until Dec 13 and Jan 14 but will then be needing another balance transfer or to find £3000.....
Paid £500 off my loan too
So from next payday I can overpay the loan each month until the end of the year, some months I should be able to overpay £300 but other months it might be less.
Hoping the only big payout I will have this year will be car insurance approx £400-500.
I am sort of sad I don't have a college course to pay for again this year, also sad it looks unlikely I will get a job from it for a long time either!
Got automotive recruitment agencies ringing me about jobs, might be going for an interview next weekend for a job that will pay me £2.5k more basic a year but who knows with agencies if its all tosh?
I am just hoping to get pregnant to be honest! No joys so far!Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Freaky, you haven't posted in a couple of months and neither have I. And we both choose today to post again.
Try not to stress too much re getting pregnant, it usually happens when you're not thinking too much about it
Hope life is well with you.0 -
Hi YB!

Pleased to announce my loan is now a four digit number rather than a five digit number!!! :j
Also I completed my college course with the grade I wanted :j
Now starting to volunteer with dogs to help me achieve my long term dream of working with animals.
Unfortunately baby making had a hiccup, got pregnant but lost it so just relaxing on that for a few weeks
Hoping to get loan under £9k by end of September....:cool:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0
