:) you're brilliant - have a fab weekend!! I've managed to get my credit rating back to excellent at last and yesterday I was approved for a free box of wine/ 0% for lots of months on transfers from Virgin - so with luck and a prevailing wind I might be able to clear the remaining card soon....

I'm also having a mass eBay soon, tho am away most of the weekend - judging on Saturday and first proper south west ex racers meeting Monday - so will have to work something!! And there might be another four legged beastie coming possibly....

Sounds like a good weekend on the way. Hope you enjoy yourself.

As you know I've been ebaying like mad. I'm planning on putting some of the Captain's rugs up there this weekend, free listing. He has far too many and won't miss half a dozen or so :o Now he's retired I've put some of my riding gear up there and have been getting quite good prices. This morning I've been scrubbing up some of my riding boots, how is it possible to have so many pairs? :o They will be listed at the weekend too.

  • Piq, I don't suppose the Captain is a 6'0" or a 6'6" is he? I'm looking for a 6'6" waffle/fleece drying rug and a 6'0" no-fill rain sheet.

He's 6'3" of greying hunk I'm afraid, bang in the middle! Fairly sure I've got some sort of fleece, but definitely no rainsheet, I left all his outdoor wear with him.

  • Ah, that's a shame - 6'3" is just a bit too tight for Merlin :(

I might have a 6'6 waffle thing, I had a job lot the other week and there was one in there.....

Possible - not certain yet, 16.3 thoroughbred - apparently an absolute gentleman. Will let you lot know what happens!!

If there is and you're planning to sell it, could you PM me please? :) Good luck with the potential new horse!

    Morning :)

So a lovely weekend, OH came up friday and we just chilled watching a few films. Saturday did hoss spent £7 on some sandwich bits, my whole spend for the weekend :D

Sunday went back to OH's and finished painting his garden fence, we worked really well together, no arguments just both got on with it, which is great and bodes well for the future.

Spent lots of money yesterday £88 on some colour copying but work expense so claiming back. £120 to the yard owner for her looking after the hoss, mainly for when I am away in a few weeks so big payout now but least am organised.

Have withdrawn some survey money just waiting for it to hit paypal.

Need to spend some more pennies today, need to get photo done for driving licence renewal as forgot the other day and wee bit of food shopping and a few bits of underwear. Have £10 voucher and 60p for sainsburys so it all helps :)

Have decided to sell the house and mentioned to ex last night. I cant afford to take on the mortgage am £45k short, even if my mum gave me her savings still £15k short and leaves my mum with nothing and know she needs to help out sister with possibly getting a new car so best bet is to sell. Will be sad to leave as really like the house and it has lots of potential but need to move on. Living with ex is somewhat draining with his negative attitude so will be good to get out.

Not going to be quick, there is wee bit of work needing doing in the house, re-plastering a few odd bits, decorating, general tidying up etc, nothing major just lots of little bits. OH and I wrote a list at the weekend so just need to formulate a plan of how to get it all done. Then can call in the agents to value and market so looking at probably at least early next year before could be homeless! Once house is sold the plan is for OH to sell and then we would buy a property together, somewhere in the middle of where we both are now so lots of plans afoot, watch this space as they say!

Still need to get rid of the debt asap so thats the short term plan still. Think going to be a tough few months but have to try and get through it somehow :)

Photos done! Woohoo look well dodgy but hey ho, £5 eek! Stupid photos and prob have to send fee of as well, need to check form later!

Also underwear got and food shopping done

Note to self if you do food shopping make sure you have an empty car as when coming back to car with 5/6 bags of shopping and then realising you have woodchips in the boot and hay on the back seat, stuffing your shopping on the passenger seat and foot well isn’t as easy as it looks ;)
