  • Urk sorry haven't posted for ages... been really busy at work .. but still on track so far.. found a load of M+S vouchers in the drawer so might use them to subsidise spending if it gets too tight towards end of month.

No shopping for me today. I will be throwing together a rather large salad to use up fresh fruit and veg in my fridge.
But I am happy to report that all is looking rather good on the spend front at the moment.:T

    Hi everyone,

Loving the Japanese meal Bluegreen143 :T

Had lunch out with friends from a different budget today. Also got some Xmas pressies in the sales to put away :money:

Paid 2nd purse back for stock used this week - £29.60 - need to update my totals.

Children plus DS1's friend are having hm pizzas tonight. DH and I are having a takeaway with BIL and newbie GF. Still stuffed from lunch so may just have a starter ;)

    Have a good evening everyone.

LOVING the Japanese meal Bluegreen143! :T

Had a bit of a mare today - Poundl*nd for a wander with the kids cost me £11 (though that did include 3 for 2 on jars of Lloyd Grossman pasta sauces - the only readymade sauce we do eat. Handy to have in for lazy teas once baby #3 arrives in 7 weeks ), then a further £6.59 at A*di for bread and fruit for the weekend. I'm grateful we've only 14 days left for this month - think I've took my eye off the ball a few times, as also hit HomeBarg*ins earlier in the week for bargains, yes, but probably non essential. Will update signature. Fingers crossed half term doesn't turn into an eating fest! Happy Weekend GCers :j

  • Bluegreen - I love sushi - what did you use in the sushi rolls? I still have some sushi rice to use up and fancy it now... :)

Well, I'm a bit cross at myself, spending another £2.90 on a dozen eggs and a bag of potatoes. I know they're staples, but I feel like I should be trying to use what I've got first, AND trying to save petrol by not driving there on a whim. Sigh. It'll get better next week.

I'll update my sig now. Up to £251.50 for the year so far.

    Have a lovely evening, everyone.

£56.87 in a combination of Mr A, HB. And Iceland (£20 vouchers In there but counted as though it were cash)

That's me penniless now bar bus money (for work) and money for bread and milk!

Have to add on my £2 still from last night, so £58.87
