hi all,
well its the end of week 2 for us and only £48 spent!! i have been shopping 3times this week and managed to control my squirelling instinct and only buy what was needed. i actually have £2.00 in my purse to carry over. this is a definite first for me, as usually i overspend one week and try to reduce it the next to balance it out and rarely succeed.
this week i've spent
£13 in poundworld
£15 in aldi (actually £14.68 but i put the 32p in the loose change pot for our holiday fund)
£20 in asda
a total of £124.31 spent so far this month.
on a side note i feel as though i'm coming out of hibernation, as spring is in the air. usually i leave the bedroom curtains closed during the day to keep the heat in and to save having to close at 4pm when its dark, but now i have the urge to let the light in. even urges to have the washing out on the line rather than use tumble drier on the economy 7. (i'm not as hard core as some of you, no line drying when it freezing/icy outside).0 -
Morning everyone! No spends yesterday. Had a fantastic HM Japanese meal for Valentines (me and OH cooked it together).
Vegetarian sushi in different flavours:
Vegetable tempura (carrot, shiitake mushroom, asparagus) (OH also made king prawn tempura, I don't like prawns though):
Beansprouts dressed in soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds and Japanese vinegar:
Miso soup with seaweed:
Very good Valentine's Day and the second year we've done the same thing, so becoming a traditionPart time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
