Thats it, I'm going to have to buy him a stable. I put him in the outbuilding with some straw last night and he was mooing and headbutting the door at 5am so I had to go and let him out...he obviously does not like being locked up! Anyone know where I can get a shed/stable/wooden room thingy with doors that does not cost the earth? (preferably somewhere in Lancashire)

I don't think we will have many burgalars! I'm just wondering what happens with him when we go on holiday, I expect the farmer will look after him if I batt my eyelids a bit more...

Hubby (now he has calmed down) is laughing saying a bull is the perfect pet for someone with a similar temperment and next time I do something bad he will throw me in the field in my red pyjamas.

Yes, he is a bit lighter than the one above and much smaller. His name is whiteface. I don't know where he is at the min,but when he comes home I'll take out the camera and get a snap. Then someone will have to explain to me how I insert pictures.

to be serious for a moment and reverting to the question of pet insurance ...

DH suggested phoning the NFU (although be prepared to hear that you are completely crackers!) and we both thought of that advert where some insurance chap battles through storms etc to get to a snug farmhouse where he's not even offered a cuppa, but he heads out back through the storm still smiling. We can't remember whose the advert is, but it's something to do with farming or agriculture ...

I'm glad it's not just me who jumps in with both feet when it comes to rehoming animals. I have three dogs when I'd only ever intended to have one :o:D

OK. First you take your picture (obviously  ) and download it to your computer.

Then you need to sign up for an online photo sharing account, for example http://photobucket.com/

Follow their instructions for uploading the photo.

You need a copy of the URL Link to put into your MSE message. Photobucket show the URL link under the photo after it's been uploaded.

    Copy this link.

When you have made a new message on MSE you can insert the photo by pressing the "Insert Image" icon on the tool bar above (looks like a yellow square with mountains). This open another box for you to insert the URL link.

Type the link into the box and press "ok".

If you press "Preview Post" you should be able to see your photo.

Then hey presto! Whiteface will make his MSE debut :D :T

The very best of luck with Whiteface by the way. My extended family used to have a paddock full of random animals my Uncle Bruce had brought home from the pub! The best ever was the Giant Goat that he thought would be a good idea to keep the weeds and grass under control. Except Giant Goat didn't like weeds very much, but loved to munch on the the flowers. Then there was the donkey and the other donkey, and a lovely little shetland pony, but never anything as big as a bull :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.
