    I'm in the middle on this one, obviously I have a vested interest in why I should not like or want leather but its a lifelong habit and old habits die hard and I just happen to have an obsession with footwearI suppose if there were alternatives where you could not tell the difference then that would keep most happy - particularly motorists with a keen eye for a firm leatherclad bottom!

    Well done Mortgage Mamma on such a brave purchase! I used to work for MAFF doing cow passports, make sure your bull has one. My favourite cows are the highland ones, I just love their shaggy looks!

    Looks like you live in a lovely part of the world, it would never work having a bull in London!

    Thanks everyone - just thought I'd update you, we now have a black cow who is 9 months old called - wait for it - Wonderpet :confused:

    Named after that irritating kids programe on nick junior the wonderpets

    If anyone knows it I'm sure your kids go round singing
