Regarding the name, Whiteface is very fitting by the way, thought I must share this with you.
As he is a bullock you could have named after a gelded racehorse whose name slipped through the officials who didnt see the joke. He was running as recently as last year and was called Noble Locks.

My Aunt and Uncle's cow was called Buttercup (far too traditional :eek: )
Mildred's a good name for a cow, so is Mabel, Edna, Arabella or Matilda.
How about Blanche (going with the Whiteface theme here :-)
