I know you've already made up your mind, but have a look at the Lost Gardens of Heligan as well - not too far from Eden, and cheaper and quieter and there are some gorgeous spots there.

At the end of the day, as long as it feels like you've put a bit of thought into it, I'm sure she'll love it. It's a symbolic thing and NOT about how much you spend!

All the best and hope it goes well!

I think if we have time we may be able to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan too, I just think the Yurt is a cool and funky idea, and perfect for her.

    Fingers crossed.

    Well guys,

I have made a decision. I am going to take her to the Eden Project where she has always wanted to go, and I have hired a yurt in a nice spot in a field of wild flowers.
I think it will be perfect and romantic.

Here are a couple of pics, what do you think?

She's a lucky girl. Yurts are so romantic - and luxurious. Let us know how you get on. xx

wow, I'm amazed that people do all this type of thing? we just kinda decided we were getting married jointly!

Hope it doesn't cost you alot - remember a relationship isn't about the fancy trips away, engagement ring (why get one at all?), hiring yurts or or boats for moonlight proposals. Its about the give and take of supporting each other and enjoying each other through thick and thin.

The way I see it, proposing is something I plan on doing something once, so I would like it to be a little special, not an every day thing.

But everyone is different, and what different things.
Your right its the intent thats important.
