Because he can, and because you are allowing him to.

If he has left you, you need to let him go and move on with your life. Easier said than done I know, but what is the alternative? Waste another 15 years of your life on this man?

He has left you so who cares where he is or what he is Doing? If he has found another poor cow to inflcit his misery on good luck to him, (and her because she's going to need it).
This could be the best year of your life, the start of a new life, if you let it. Or it can be the start of yet another year of misery and betrayal. The choice is yours - not his.

What's the situation regarding where you live - do you have a mortgage/rent? I'd be tempted to change the locks, but not sure on the 'legalities' of that if you have a joint mortgage?

Don't bother replying to his text - save your credit for someone more worthwhile.

He is able to lie because he has done it for so long. He is probably also lying to himself, so much so that he doesn't see that what he is doing is wrong. It IS wrong and YOU deserve better.

Don't reply just ignore him completely he is not worth another thought I know what you are going through, mine left with another woman when I was 7 months pregnant with my second child. I let him come back when it all fell apart and 1 year later he left with my so called best friend.

Angry is good revenge is better and as someone said the best revenge is to live well and trust me it is a good feeling.

Because you let him.

Until such time that you don't want him texting you at all you will be in pain.

Text him back, tell him to stop lying and grow some 8alls, then tell him where you've seen his car. Wish him a nice life with his wh*res, turn your phone off and start the grieving process.

As for the fact that they all have kids, still makes them loose women! He's probably with them because they'll sleep with any old scrote. I pity the kids seeing what's going on, at least when you have them they'll be the product of a happy committed relationship.

I've seen friends go through similar and l wouldn't mind betting as soon as you get tough he comes running back with all sorts of promises, it's the challenge some of these men like but he won't change.

Because the alternative is for him to man up, face up to what he is doing, and to take responsibility for his actions.

And after over three decades of not taking responsibility for his actions, it's inconceivable to him that he should do so.

I wouldn't lower myself to even reply to his texts. He has you on a string and he knows it, but do you?

we rent so i dont know if i can change the locks without permission plus i cant really afford it.
money will be impossibly tight as i have lots of debt that "we" built up together and i am paying off very slowly ! but i am paying it off.

i cant stop crying tonight, he sent me some awful texts earlier and i hate everything about myself at the moment and i hate that this is his fault that he has made me feel like i am worth nothing

Turn your phone off or block his number, you do not deserve such treatment. He knows just how to hurt you, so try not to let him. Stay with your Dad. Stay safe. Turn your phone on in the morning when you feel able to cope more. This bloke is a nob of the highest calibre......
