  • As much as I am always thinking my life is not fair I am not having it as bad as the people in the Philippines.

I have happily made a donation just because they really need it now more than I do. I just can't even begin to imagine what they are going through now.

  • Just managed to get home after talking to my cousin for over two hours. I was trying to discuss what is happening between my mum and dad and her mum.

Although I was trying to be unbiased I felt that she was being biased and not willing to accept that all parties were at fault.
I tried to ask her if my dad and uncle went to her mum and my aunt and suggested that they all moved on would they try again, but I got the feeling that they wouldn't.

So I've decided that I no longer want anything to do with them. I tried to explain how hard it is when I see them ignore my parents in public. I really didn't feel like going out tomorrow but I have already said that I would and I will keep my word, but this will be the last thing I do with them, unless it is to do with my nan.

I am sad about the situation but really glad we had the talk even though it didn't go too well and I now know what the actual situation is. I am now really to walk away from it.

I will always remain polite to my family but it is now time for me to let go and move on without them being involved in my life.

  • Back from the gym and managed to do a 5k run in 43mins :j
It's only the 5th time I have done it now and the first time took me well over a hour to do and a week to recover. I hope one day to do it in 30mins.

Time for a long soak in the bath and wash my hair ready for tonight. I have nothing to wear so I will need to go out shopping :)

    Other things to do today
    • Washing
    • Ironing

  • I must stop waiting so long to update this diary :)

For once I am back to say I am feeling great. I have been on a juice fast for the past week and have lost 8lbs. I really didn't think I would last a day but I am still on it over a week later and feel so much better.
I plan to stay on the juice fast until Sunday and then decide if I want to start introducing food or continue for another week.

For a long time I have not been able to get my weight below 145lbs, it just feels like I hit a wall when I get to 145lbs and it becomes impossible to lose anymore.
I am hoping this will be it.

  • At the start of the year I had only 3 goals
    1) Clear the debt
    2) Lose 2 stones
    3) Declutter the house.

I know for sure I won't be able to clear all the debt. I may not be able to lose 2 stones but I could end the year lighter than when I started.
The house still has a lot of clutter so I think I should really bet my butt moving in that one.

If I can cross two things off my list it will be a good enough start to 2014 for me.

  • It's pay day :)

All accounts checked and money moved around
Paid council tax for December. Paid this early for a change.

We all now have our £108 saved which was from the sky tv and union payments. We just need to pick a day where we can happily go out and spend it. Unfortunately, mine has to be spent on DS2 school trip next year but the kids already know what that want to buy.
I have asked the kids if they still want Sky tv and they have said no, having the money is much more fun :)

Yet again this will be a tight month being as it is Christmas and I still have 9 presents to buy and that is the cut down list and I have already got the kids presents. I am not sure if £100 can do it, need to get creative I think.

I am looking forward to closing this year, at least I am in a better position than the last 9 years.

    Happy Friday all xx

I don't know why, but even though my close family know I work from home at set times they still insist on calling me and asking for favours when I should be working.

    Charming :(

Get caller display, and dont answer the personal calls. That was the only way I could deter my family from interrupting.
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..

The funny thing is I have already got caller display. The last time I was on a conference call my sister kept ringing both my mobile and house phone, I did answer it and hang up a few times hoping she would get the message.

When I did call her back she said she thought something was wrong with my phone

I may just have to ignore and only answer if I really can.
