So yesterday started out ok and I was determined to have a good day. A couple of things happened but I didn't get stressed about it, then I had a call from the deputy head at DS2 school.
OMG my heart just sank there and then. DS2 was selling his stuff in school for £1 each:rotfl::rotfl:I can see the funny side of it now and the deputy head did say DS2 has a very enterprising mind but we don't do that kind of stuff here:D DS2 is only 8 years old and has started early:money:
Two things I am not happy about is 1) DS2 lied to the teacher when she asked if I knew about it (I didn't) and 2) I can't see why the parent of the child who wanted to buy something off ds2 for £1 didn't speak to me about it first before going to the teacher. Talk about stabbing someone in the back. Can't kids be kids anymore. When I see her next time I will ask her about it and let her know that she could have come to me about it I won't bite:p
Anyway her son needs to learn to have fun once in a while, I would love to say more but I shall refrain from putting it in writingSmile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

With all the chaos I have had over the last few days and now think that enough is enough. I am fed of doing what everyone else thinks we should do. My ds2 is very different he is loud and loves to live life to the full. He doesn't like sitting down reading, he hates learning his spellings and times tables. He loves to go and investigate and explore and is more hands on than sitting down listening all day.
I am clearly not one of those parents that brags about ds2 reading age, what book he is reading how great his spelling is or the fact he can explain the solar system. He is not good at any of those things but I love him to bits
DS2 has been saying for quite a while that he doesn't like school and wants to be schooled at home. I did think about it a while ago and maybe I could do it as I do work from home so I am here anyway.
Now I am kind of feeling why don't I just go for it, would it work and what if I fail?
Fear is not a good thing in these circumstances, but I just don't want to mess his life up.Smile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

Sorry post number 3
I have had the kick I needed to kick start my life again, so I guess I should be grateful for all the carp that has happened.
All this chaos started on Thursday morning I couldn't find a clean pair of school trousers.
I am disorganised and my life is getting out of control and the only person that can fix this right now is me.
My to do list for this week is get rid of it all. Everything must go all the clutter, things I do not need or does not enhance my life.
So far I have been able to get ds1 and 2 a spare school jumper and a few other bits so that I do not have another panic on a school morning.
Right, where are the bin bags? I've got stuff to get rid of:)

Hi, I had to laugh at your sons little business, maybe he will be the next Richard Branson.
As for the home schooling, you know your son and best and what will be the best thing for him.
I'm with you on the de-cluttering, I'm someone that really cannt cope with loads of stuff and regularly have a good sort out, drives me nuts having stuff lying around. get ebaying girl and if it doesn't sell send it to the charity shop, I guarantee once its gone you won't miss it.0 -
I didn't really get a good nights sleep
I have got so much going on at the moment and just need to just let it all out.
One good thing which has happened over the last few weeks is I have changed my jobI was so unhappy with what I was doing and wanted to start something new. I tried to find another job but nothing came from it. I was asked to move to another department to help out and I am so glad I was. Feels great learning something new which is what I wanted.
I shall come back later to let everything out one by one and I am hoping it helps to release some of the tension I am feeling.
Right time to get up and get the kids ready for school.

Kids are now at school and I have just had a cup of tea and some cake which we made last night yum yum.
Feeling better already
I am suppose to go out tomorrow night for my cousins birthday. I love her to bits but her mom and my dad have fallen out over the care of my Grandma. So now my dad doesn't even get to visit her anymore and I can see it is breaking his heart.
My aunt is a lovely person but she has been slaging (sp?) off both of my parents and this makes me feel very uncomfortable.
My aunt also recently had an operation and I haven't been to see her which I do feel really bad about it but I have to put my parents first. We have always been a close family but things are just not the same anymore
Going out with my cousin and the rest of the family will be quite strange and I really don't want to go. The last time she had a party for her daughter at my grandma house I felt really uncomfortable as everyone was invited except for my parents. In the end I left early, I just couldn't deal with it all.
It's also my Grandma's birthday today so I will have to go and see her anyway. I have no idea what will happen but she is very important to me and even though she has dementia I still want to go:(Smile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

I don't know why, but even though my close family know I work from home at set times they still insist on calling me and asking for favours when I should be working.
We all know when it is my grandma's birthday, but yet again my sister decides to call me up and ask if I can get her a card and flowers from her. She likes to encourage me on how often I should go and visit her but yet still she couldn't even visit her today when she isn't even working.
She spent 25mins on the phone to me talking about herself and not once did she ask me how I was doing.

One thing that is really worrying me now is that we have recently found out that DS2 (aged 8) has an Undescended testicle which means he will have to have an operation very soon.
We only found this out on Wednesday and have already received an appointment for his scan in 4 weeks time, hopefully everything will be dealt with quickly.
The poor thing has no idea what is going to happen to him, but it wasn't so long ago that he was traumatised by having an injection to go on holiday. He screamed the place down. I feel really sorry for him and I am not sure how he will cope with it allSmile loan - £2821.98 / £0:)

A few months ago I had increased my monthly payments to b'card but when I enquired about a F & F this was much higher than before due to my increased payments.
Yesterday, I called b'card to reduce the payments to what they were before and then I will see what the f & f amount will be next month.
Just made a payment of £62.17.
New balance is £4161.58 at least it is going down even if it is just a small amount.
I also have saved £1000 so far towards the f&f so I really only owe £3161.58:)
