I think I will get earplugs for the £2 challenge. Otherwise I may end up smothering incessantly snoring dh.

Seriously HOW is he making that much noise without waking himself up?!

Putting the wakefulness to good use checking out present ideas online. Can't escape from the noise as we are at friends' house and nowhere to go. Not actually buying anything though, 4am not a great time for making sound financial decisions!

Echodelta, I can sympathise with you on the snoring, my OH snores so loud I can hear him through the floorboards when I am downstairs. Last night he was at it the whole night through so I didnt get any sleep until 5 when he got up for work.

I had a couple of hours sleep then got up to watch the F1, yes Susan, I am still a big fan. I set the skybox to record so am flipping through the talk to spot anything interesting I might have missed until I catch up with the start of the race.

I made my bag yesterday, will take a photo later and put it on, just the necklace to go now and all sorted, I have even bought my tights lol, and bought two pairs in case I have an accident and ladder one. I havent worn tights for about 7 years!!

Haha, I recorded OH the other week and played it to him, he thought he didnt sound as loud as what I make out. If he is up his mums they can hear him in the other rooms, keeps them awake. Reckon my neighbours must be able to hear him through the walls. I would love one of those things that measure the decibels.

Well I treated myself - bought a lottery ticket... Never do it as I never win ... I just checked I got 4 numbers woop woop

Well done! That's brilliant! I always buy a ticket for Mr KB as there's nothing like a bit of hope in the otherwise mundane. We haven't won anything yet and seriously doubt we'll come into any money until we're unable to make good use of it.

Our lives at the moment are full of decluttering. I've got through so much stuff it's untrue and I hope the charity shops can make good use of it. I've another bag to go to them next week and probably another one after that. I know I could sell them, but I really don't have the time at the moment to list everything, wait until a buyer is interested and then post it. We need the space way more than anything. This has included all the little presents I bought to put away for next year. Luckily I didn't have very many yet (only a few bubble bath and shower gels) for next year. This plus side means that I've got plenty of variety for washing with! I shall start my sale-buying a little later in the year when things have calmed down. In particular I want things to be a little more handmade this year so I'm going to put an emphasis on "money can't buy" things.

In good news though, I picked up my cross stitch yesterday. Mr KB isn't very well and there's lots of time indoors. While having a break from sorting the bookcase I picked up my sewing and did a grand total for 7 stitches.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Keep warm.

    KB xx

    hI everyone

Mum2one, no you don't sound mad about asking about diabetis. I had numerous tests over the years for that becuase I was always getting strange things wrong with me but they all came back negative. If I get any more strange turns I will ask for another one.

A few months ago at the pub I had loads of coffee and added sugar as it was bitter (normally I drink without) and had a bad headache, I also get that if I eat more than one slice of cake with icing or buttercream.

I love reading about all the decluttering.

mum2one heres a spooky story for you to keep you going till the ghost hunt, im doing some family tree stuff and searching my great gran i knew she had a lot of heartache and lost children my aunt told me the first baby died in her mums arms on christmas day aged 3 weeks.
someone on here helped me put names to nearly all of gt grans children by helping me search through birth and death records of the time turns out this little one was called sarah. now for the spooky bit my eldest daughter when a toddler kept asking why wed given her the wrong name as she was really called sarah she was adamant about this and right up to being in her early teens added sarah as a middle name to her email address! makes you wonder doesnt it, well it does me anyway.

hope everyone is well and staying warm and safe in this weather

for the challenge, i spent about £2 on bird seeds yesterday as i love watching the birds feeding in the garden so it gives me pleasure and helps them out in this cold snap.

Here is the bag I made to go with my outfit. I have since ordered a gold chain to attach to the edges so I can hitch it over my shoulder if I feel like it.
