Rufus - Hope the weather holds and you can get out with ED ok, sounds like a hetic couple of days.
I know your kids are older, but our cinema does the kids movies on a Sat morning for £1.00 per person, its a film thats been out a few months, but in the holidays they carry a film over for the week. I can't get over the prices, when we went Sat, just me and Miss Hoodie - that was £9 for me, £6.90 for her, - that wasn't even a 3D film. I have to confess when she was a lot younger, she use to think the cinema only opened on a Sat morning!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Hi all
Thanks for the new thread mum2one, I'll take a look in a mo.
Sugarspun, I'm thinking about you, hope you have someone helping you out at this time with so much going on with your family life x x did you find the elusive mincemeat?
Rufus, good luck with the weather. It is horrendous today hope we both don't get wet.
Mum2one, whatever will you do if your cooker packs up one day? So much baking. I think it's fantastic the whole family is so much on the same wavelength with special occasions, I love hearing what you are all doing.
I thought DS1's time here was going to be doomed, we had a massive argument soon after he arrived, luckily all ok now. I was out most of the weekend, friends birthdays, as usual nothing went to plan and many arguments on the Saturday. I went to Mr T's late and had heavy bags to take home. I don't know where all the food/money goes as it's been like that most days, me carrying loads of bags after seeing friends and didn't even include the food for 25th. I think it's because DS1 is down for a week I wanted to get prepared.
Today DS2 will go to mums as soon as he arrives for the afternoon/early evening and I'll go to the shops. I just spoke to DS1 and found out a few things pressies he wants, I told him to keep things simple bearing in mind we have limited shops anything else he will have to get from his Christmas cash.0 -
I have managed to bag a few bargains in the sales
....a dressing gown £7 xmas pressie 2014
2 dresses for my nieces £5.40 each (birthday and matching dress for little one)
Hello kitty set £4.99
All half price from Argos/asda
I have noticed Boots still have some decent items too for 2014 xmas pressies! Scared to order this early though in my Jan budget!0 -
Hi teabody, there sounds some good bargains there, I gave in and went to the 50% sale, was trying to hold out to 75% but our local store the shelves were half empty.
