Mrs MoneyPenny - the jumper is gorgeous.

Had a good day - got Miss Hoodie a dress for her school Christmas concert, - £5 from Primark, and few extras for Christmas, - found a bargain shop, got Miss Hoodie a winter coat, reduced from £55 to £15, and a hooded top, £25, reduced to £10.

Got back to the car in under 3 hrs.. (2hrs 55mins) which meant parking was £2.20, if gone 3hrs would have been £6, - short stay car park, but the one where the shopmobility was located.

Nice to have a morning to myself, back to Xmas cards tomorrow..... xx

    Hi everyone

    Good bargains Mum2one xx

I have been up ages, got some veg prepared, we have our first family pre-xmas dinner today, inlaws turn today. All the posh plates came out of the cupboard last night to be washed up. Only time we used it is Christmas lol. It was expenisive though but we got it in a Debenhams sale years ago, its not christmassy, its white with gold round the edge but looks lovely. Makes a change from our mismatched chipped everyday plates!

I am going to the gym (dont faint haha) first which ED, been going two weeks now. Not doing a lot because of my disabilities but having a go. I have 12 weeks at cut price as was referred by the doctor, then if I want to carry on I will have to pay full price (wont happen, cant afford it).

    Santas Challenge - December
Its an early one for December so we can for ready for Christmas Eve/ Day / Sales.

Whether your having Turkey or another meat, make sure you've checked the defrosting time needed, and cooking time....

Beef comes out Christmas Eve, cooking time ... needs 1 hour.

    Meal Planning

Cooking for only the three solid-food-eaters in the house. Christmas Eve will be lasagne, Christmas morning dim sum, Christmas dinner roast beef dinner, Boxing Day out for lunch and snacky dinner.

    Present opening Kit

    Building this today :j

    Taking Tree/Decorations down

I've just put stacks of Christmas lights on Facebay - why do we have so many?!

    Presents for 2014

    Spreadsheet at the ready ;)

    Sales

I have wrap, cards and tags to last at least next year. MUST NOT BUY. As far as other stuff goes, I just need some boots I think and if the sales are brilliant some larger-size clothing for the kids.

    Last Minute Items

Christmas Eve our shops are open till 1pm.

    Mother Hen Moment

I have clucked my way through the checklist and we're all set.

    Miss Hoodies Corner

    Phew!

    New Year Challenge

I made myself a bucket list on Pinterest and my New Year Challenge is to complete 3 items from it next year. Also, to be money neutral on the gift giving for the year.

Thank you mum2one and Miss Hoodie.

I love Xmas and usually they hide the presents from me because I open them and seal them back up. But he signed across the tape on this one lol ... My kids know me so well lol
