Morning Moneypenny, we had warnings down out way, not as bad as some places on the tv this morning.

I have got the picture done for the cushion order, just waiting for postman to come and hopefully bring some fabric I want to use for the rest of it.

Got our new cooker coming today, fingers crossed they don't say the kitchen still isn't suitable for it to be put in. Apart from that not a lot to do today really.

Angela - if the wind came and blew in the craft room you wouldn't notice the difference. On a positive note when the cards are done I'm going to have a big clear out. Hope your visit is going ok. As regard selling eBay it is really unless you fancy boot selling . Facebook page. Or local ads

Rufus - good luck with the cooker

Mum2one - I can't remember the last time I had anything done at dentist , think it was 7 years ago. My crown fell out. Have check ups but nothing. Ps I don't use tooth paste , perhaps that has something to do with it. Only use water

Well the storm took one of the fence panels off. Other looks a bit iffy. But the winds wow . Hope everyone safe.

Echo - that's a touch one. I used to ask to use the bathroom in the persons place, would then see what they used . And buy the same and make a hamper. Same with the kitchen cupboards , nosey I know lol

Would you believe they still wouldnt put the cooker in, decided now that the light switch for the kitchen is too near the cooker. Its always been in same place and so has gas cooker! There is no where else you can put the light switch and there is no where else you can put a cooker, its only a small kitchen. They left the cooker in the dining room so dont know what we are going to do now.

Unfortunatly all the regulations changed, we had an absolute saga when we had our cooker in the summer, - the company even tried changing the goal posta.

Apparently there can't be an electrical socket/switch/cover within 1 metre of the cooker. We had to have a plug disconnected then they moaned the cover was wrong despite being done by an electrician.

Was fitting included in the price of the cooker - if it is I would and you can get the cooker fitted ask for a refund, we were told its around £90 for fitting of a cooker. What annoyed us most the delievery team/fitters who 1st refused to fit our cooker, had the cheek to turn round and say shame he lived 2hrs away otherwise they would have fitted it as a back hander........

It might be worth ringing a few around plumbers - as to get gas fitted its needs to be a corgi registered engineer,.

Brilliant news - did a craft stall at Miss Hoodies school - £10 for table, made £60, so exicted, off in the holiday fund, xx

Well done Mum2one, brilliant stall, hope I get good results on Sunday.

We rung a local bloke and he is coming to have a look tomorrow morning so fingers crossed yet again.

Mum2one - well done on the stall. Excellent and fingers crossed for tomorrow

Rufus... This is going to sound really bad ... You can fit it yourself. I got them to drop mine in the lounge and it was only three wires to fit. The cooker point is usually on a fuse of its own. Switch off in fuse box and change cooker . No more difficult than a plug , just thicker wires.

had a really good day today, went and met some friends for lunch (40miles away), thou had a diversion on way back, Miss Hoodie chatting away, missed direction on Sat Nav - so instead of a nice dual carriage way - we were up country lanes for 15 miles..... got home safe.

    Writing Xmas cards tomorrow... xx
